Short escape the room/hidden object mystery. Nice graphics and animations. Story isn't very interesting but that's not why you play it. Nice variety of different types of minigame puzzles.

I wished steam had a neutral recommendation, this one would certainly be one of those. There is something about old manors, ghost stories, and a good mystery that captivates the imagination of readers, a thrilling story that is at the same time haunting and cozy due to its familiarity, almost formulaic setup. Hidden object games are often considered part of the “cozy” genre, as they are simple to play and the plot is a series of light brainteasers to take someone from one scene to the next until the story ends. So, it is no surprise that Ms. Holmes would find herself in one of such plots at one point or another. A mysterious ghost has been spotted in the McKirk manor and the lady of the state, Mallory McKirk, comes to the upcoming private detective to figure out the case along with missing jewels and unravel a grave conspiracy. Many of the stronger beats that made the two previous games stand out were mostly gone, like the connecting the dots mechanic and only the superficial...
A very nice and short game...Buy it preferably on a sale since it is short....
This was so far the worst of the Ms Holmes series. The plot was all over the place and disjointed. Elephant's games usually have a decent and coherent plot, but this one really didn't, and the bonus chapter also didn't seem to make any sense. The puzzles were okay, easier than normal, but the game is VERY short. Only buy this one on sale.
I enjoyed the game. The puzzles were varied and less frustrating they used to be in the past games. Of course some of them are still somewhat redundant but overall the puzzle aspect was better this time around. The story was worse though but I guess it was unexpected so I was entertained enough for the playthrough to be worth finishing. I wish I had gotten the game on sale because as much as the gaming aspect was better, the story was so frustrating for me I didn't really care for it. I also miss the morphing objects collectibles! Now the rest of my complaints are spoiler heavy so read at your own risk. Of course, I have certain gripes with the logistics of the story. Like how the police completely let Holmes off the hook for reasonably making her the first and only suspect, is beyond ridiculous for me. She could've easily been McKirks killer in the police's eyes, or seen as being in cahoots with the real killer just based on the evidence uncovered. The whole ghost thing is never r...
This was a great game. I hope they make more Ms.Holmes games
Overall it's a pretty good hidden object game. It can be fully completed fairly quickly, so it's a nice short little game if that's what you're looking for. The graphic is pretty decent and the story is alright. If you're looking for something a bit more challenging then I don't recommend this game, but if you're just looking for something quick and easy then this is your game.
Not bad. It was on sale and the puzzles are quite nice. The hint book is built right into the game, which I think is clever. That way I don't have to keep running out to the Internet. What is tough is that there are two occasions where a much simpler solution was visible in the room, but because the devs didn't see that I had to figure out the much more convoluted path. Anyway, if you like to play a detective, this is a good one for you.
