While playing, the thing that stood out to me the most were the dark visuals, the atmosphere really pulls you in. The turn-based combat is very punishing yet rewarding with permadeath making every decision count. You manage a small squad through procedural generated dungeons, using strategy, positioning, and resource management to survive. Between runs, upgrading your camp and crafting gear adds a deeper layer of progression and the eerie, music fits the tone perfectly. If you're into tactical roguelikes with a grim tone, this one’s definitely worth playing.

Will be updated by time. Still playing right now. It's a fun combination between Tactics Ogre and Darkest Dungeon. It's a combination from both game tactical aspect but make it 3D. Exploring was done just as an ARPG but the whole game feels like I'm back to when I was a child playing a tactical RPG game on my PC (Atlantica). The game is trying to be beginner friendly by giving direction, but it comes out at the same time for every part of the game. Player can't focus on everything and will be confused instead. I feel like there is a need for the player to get gameplay direction via actual gameplay direction rather than tutorial direction. It's not a perfect game by any means, but if you love grid based tactical RPG with dark theme, this one is for you.

I’ve been playing this dark, turn-based dungeon crawler lately, and honestly, it’s been a solid experience. It’s tough, for sure you feel every decision, especially when your units can die for good. But that’s part of the fun. You lead this eerie squad of minions through randomly generated dungeons, fighting off creepy monsters and trying to grab loot before things go sideways. What I really liked is the atmosphere it’s grim, mysterious, and keeps you curious. There’s this mix of strategy and exploration that hits just right. The combat isn’t overly flashy, but it makes you think, and I appreciate that. There’s enough depth with the different unit types and how you can boost them with gear and rituals. It can be a bit punishing if you’re not careful, and the UI takes a little getting used to, but overall, it’s a pretty addictive game. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy tactical RPGs with a darker tone and don’t mind the challenge.

At first, Arhaekon felt a bit overwhelming, but once I understood the mechanics, I was hooked. The turn based combat is tense and rewarding, and managing your squad through rituals and augments adds depth. The dark atmosphere, smooth graphics, and randomized dungeons keep things fresh. It’s a bit punishing early on, but that’s part of the appeal. If you enjoy tactical RPGs with a gritty tone, this one’s definitely worth a try. It’s a bit challenging at first, and the UI takes a moment to get used to, but once you’re in, it’s incredibly rewarding. If you enjoy tactical RPGs with roguelike elements and a darker tone, this is absolutely worth your time.

Wasn't sure what to expect going in, but this game surprised me. It’s not just another roguelike it actually makes you slow down and think. The pacing is more methodical, and I ended up liking that a lot more than I thought I would. You’re not rushing through levels, you’re planning your steps, watching your resources, deciding if it’s worth pushing deeper or heading back to camp. That tension is great. One thing I appreciated was how unforgiving it can be, in a good way. You’re managing a small squad, and every battle feels like it matters. If you mess up, you’re paying for it. I lost one of my best units halfway through a dungeon because I got cocky—and that hit hard. The vibe is also spot-on. It’s bleak, but not in a way that feels forced. The lore is sprinkled in just enough to keep you interested without dumping walls of text. I kept finding these weird relics and bits of story that made me want to know more about the world, even if it’s all really cryptic. Th...

Arhaekon's dark atmosphere and mysterious world drew me in. Battles require strategy and attention, which made each encounter more exciting and enjoyable. It was great to build a team, develop them, and gain power through rituals as I progressed through the map. Each playthrough unfolds differently, which made exploration even more enjoyable for me. The small details in the story and the ambient music also added a nice depth to the game.Overall, I can say that I enjoyed playing the game. Even though I don't play this type of game very often, it gave me a good gaming experience.

I loved how the synergy between units creates endless possibilities for smart plays. Visually, the game has a gritty, focused style that fits the world perfectly. The UI is clean, responsive, and makes navigating everything smooth and intuitive. Exploring each dungeon feels tense and meaningful, with a strong sense of progression. Just started playing this beautiful game. It takes a lot for me to invest time in a game, but when I do, I tend to stick with those games for a long time, I'm arguably always willing to go back to them. Battletech 2018. Wartales, etc. Darkest Dungeon. Battle brothers, etc. I have a great feeling this game's going to be up there with the best of them!
