an FPS metroidvania that puts on an absolute clinic in FPS boss design. The only FPS that comes close in terms of fun bosses is ULTRAKILL, and honestly the mechanics in this game are far more unique. Doesn't have quite the white nuckle movement of the literal best FPSs ever made, but makes up for it with a ton of charm and uniqueness. I played after the music update, and the music is BANGIN, so I would disregard negative comments regarding the music at this point. Highly recommended, especially for the price!
frog game that is good
I had seen a Speedrun of this game one time on GDQ and I thought it looked pretty cool. Turns out, this is one of the best Souls-Like games I've ever played. I always wondered how they could make Souls into a shooter and man, this random looking frog game is better than I expected. I'm pretty sure the sound effects are mostly the creator making explosion sounds with his mouth and that's hilarious. I keep expecting the game to run out of ideas, but every area was a breath of fresh air. In IGN fashion, it really makes you feeeeel like a Frogmonster. Unique music for each boss (THERE ARE SO MANY BOSSES AND THEY'RE ALL UNIQUE TOO) This game is pretty much a Metroidvania version of Doom but a frog with guns. If you consider yourself good at FPS games, this is your test. 10/10
