About This Game

A huge castle arose in the north devastating everything around it, in this game you are Jeremiah, a simple peasant who receives an order from the king, go to Pahen and see what the status of his allied kingdom is, then put an end to that castle!
You have the choice to explore ruins and other kingdoms during your quest. Here, your choices matter, make allies, enemies and even influence the actions of great kings and queens.

That Castle it is an Open World J-RPG with Turn-Based Combat, the game is still on beta but already have over +100 NPC with unique dialogue and make choices that ACTUALLY MATTERS in game, with a lore and story to be explored. Besides the town, you can explore deep dungeons with fantasy monters such as Goblins, Skeletons, and a lot more. Also, with some puzzles with more than one way to do it.

During the exploration you may find some notes, describing the history of the place or some important character, giving "hints" on how to continue with the quest.

The player can play it and have up to 4 DIFFERENT ENDINGS, a lot of quests to do, create your own background and build such as mage, rogue, warrior...

In this exploration game there is no right way to play it. you can explore everywhere, talk to all NPC's, do side quests or or you can go ahead and go straight to the final objective, to That Castle, so then you can enjoy different gameplay with different role playing.

this is a work in progress! It can be changed over time!

Wow, I'm impressed at how bad the writing is for this game, not sure if the Dev was trying to do meta commentary or make fun of troupes; but it comes across as insultingly bad. No story to speak of outside "big bad castle somewhere, go destroy great evil" without any context or character motivation. Outside the dialogue; I'd say the game has some potential if the Dev actually did a story and completely revamped the dialogue so player's didn't cringe at every line, then it has a shot. Currently as of writing I'd recommend to avoid, if you want a good RPG in the same style as this try "The Last Sovereign" on Steam, it's FREE, really well written and the Dev actually made a good effort to have a relatable interesting story.

A review from someone who saw the development of this game and made almost 100% during the playthroughs! - Doesn't expect any AAA game on this, the game was made on RPG Maker by ONE person from zero, besides it's "mistakes" it's visible the great potential of this game universe, it would be such a greater game if it was made by an entire team on some "high end" engine. - The gameplay is simple, you can walk, explore, chat with npcs, trade your "equipments", recruit allies, etc... It's awesome how every character has a personality and face reactions when talking, the animations during cutscenes (also made in rpg maker) are amazing as well, much games doesn't have this... And yes, the "world" really reacts different based on your choices that u made during the game (are u reading this Cyberpunk 2077 !?) - the animations during combat are also something cool to see, the characts move throughout the screen, bunch of effects and huuuge variety of enemies (i wonder how my boy manage to pr...

Terrible game. Character gets their tails kicked in first battle with goblins. Consumes health potions way too fast, does little to no damage to goblins in very first battle scenario even when using best available weapon and armor. This all happened in the first 15 minutes of playing the game. Major thumbs down for this one.
