Played in VR on Meta Quest 3
*available when using praydog's UEVR tool Available here on release, tested with pre-release development version Pretty interesting de-made dungeon crawler. Feels incredibly immersive and atmospheric in the headset. Weapons are a little small in scale (can be adjusted in the settings but didn't tinker with it here) and the inbuilt motion controls are working perfectly with 3DOF which is I think all you would want for this. The cross hair is off to one side but I think can probably be hidden eventually or if it gets added as an option to the game settings. Gamepad support is good, although bizarrely can't be used for the main menu! So don't move too far from your keyboard and mouse. The left stick click raises and lowers your helmet and actually feels pretty claustrophobic in VR so good trade off for protection versus seeing where you are going. Tension is pretty high throughout, below is my fi...

Game is pretty interesting and has really nice dark & grimy atmosphere, but also gets very tedious very fast. You have to watch a slow intro scene when starting the game, and after dying. Combat was fun, but found myself dying to shit I couldn't see a lot. also makes you repeat the tutorial sequence every time. There are also timed sections which were quite frustrating. Mechanics aren't really explained either(or maybe I just didn't see how) seems like a game the dev made for themselves rather than for an audience. game isn't too well optimized either. but ya artstyle & combat are a +
dark souls is cake walk compared to this. cool aesthetic, thats about it. i dont have patience for this.
Game is way too unforgiving to recommend. Death happens randomly. No saves. You have to restart THE WHOLE GAME every time you die. And honestly, enemies just pop up in front of you and kill you before you can react!!!
