About This Game

Burnhouse Lane tells a story of Angie Weather, a one foot in the grave agency nurse attempting to complete five impossible tasks in order to win her life back.
Solve puzzles, make friends and enemies, run, hide and fight in this dark adventure that'll take you on a trip to another world and back...

From Harvester Games, the makers of The Cat Lady (2012), Downfall (2016) and Lorelai (2019), comes a brand new horror experience that will not only take you to some truly dark places but will also make you smile and cry and question life and all the things we take for granted. This is a story about death, friendship and everlasting hope that no matter how bad things get there is always a reason to go on.

Burnhouse Lane mixes elements of classic adventure games, choose-your-own-story (Telltale's The Walking Dead series) with light survival horror shooting mechanics inspired by Silent Hill and Resident Evil series where ammo is sparse, enemies hit hard and every shot counts.

 • Adventure-style inventory puzzles,
 • Branching dialogues and decisions that shape how the story plays out
 • Light platforming and combat sections
 • Original soundtrack by micAmic and guests
 • Full English voice acting

Burnhouse Lane is an emotional, artistic journey into the darkest parts of the human mind. The story is a solid 11/10. You play as Angie, a terminally ill nurse whose journey takes her far beyond the physical world. The game addresses heavy themes like death, grief, and depression but handles them with honesty and emotional weight. Along the way, you get a new job where you take care of George (a chill guy who loves a simple sandwich) and meet others who are far more complicated, forcing you to really think about your choices. You get to save Aarno, and Mitzi from The Cat Lady even makes a return. I really loved the abilities. Cats have powers you didn't know ;) <33 I love Harvester Games. I'll keep on supporting them! This is one of those rare games that actually made me feel something. No matter how cruel , I’m still unable to get the last achievement

Michalski brothers again show us what is true S-tier indie gaming is. Again, already 4th time, here is that deep experience of surrealistic horror with a lots of gore and nastiness perfectly complementing the setting. It actually creates some bond with player reviving feeling of a true nightmare. Not fear, but some kind of oppressive despair. Some repeating storytelling techniques from previous games seem not like copy-paste but look like the author's recognizable handwriting. But overall, this game, having all what I love in prev trilogy, still very unique and interesting. Here is also next step of tecnhical level comparing to prev games, better animations, some new mechanics, better visuals overall. Ending was the weakest from the whole series. Probably Golden ending will be much better. Anyway, as a single game, it's strong 10/10. I absolutely love what Harvester Games do. Waiting for next release, that one I'll buy momentally

Quite liked it overall. I think this is probably the developer's creepiest game (high praise from me). I enjoyed the setting, and the characters were pretty good - George is the sweetest old man I've ever encountered. Got the golden ending, though not without having to fight for it. Minor spoiler for Chapter 3
having to do Ciaran's shooting minigame twice seems like an oversight. It wasn't apparent (to me at least) that you could get two separate rewards and not just an improved reward for hitting 5/5, so I screwed myself over without even knowing it...
So then because I'm stubborn I restarted the entire game and speedran myself back there. If you enjoyed any other title by Harvester Games, you'll probably like this one too.

This game pulled me in the entire time, it was so incredibly fun. I can't even describe all the little shenanigans that happened that kept my attention every step of the way. The characters were both endearing and frustrating, which just means I was very invested in them.
