Overview
Slayer is a strategic action game built around a finely tuned combat system and dark narrative. Survival demands more than quick reflexes—you must consider movement direction, positioning, attack angles, parrying, dodging timing, and map structure.

Three Modes

- Action Mode: Full directional attacks and combo-driven, exhilarating gameplay.

- Master Mode: Front-facing attacks only. Precise positioning and strategy are essential.

- Hardcore Mode: Limited lives, permadeath upon depletion. For extreme survivalists.

I think in general the game is a fun dungeon crawler. It'd be nice if it was possibly a little longer, but overall a somewhat satisfying game. The isometric style is nice and suits the game play mechanics well, this is similar to Crypt of the Necrodancer. The team is highly responsive to feedback, which is incredible for a 3 person team. The replay-ability is limited to varying difficulties and or self-imposed challenges, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. This game is fairly easy to set down and come back to and the item/monster design gives a nice NES nostalgia.
