The Homeworld 3: Fleet Command edition includes the Base Game, Year One Pass, Multiplayer Customization Set, & Digital Soundtrack.

The Year One Pass includes three DLC drops that expand the co-op War Games mode with new playable factions and artifacts.

About the Game

Tactical, beautiful, and wholly unique, the GOTY-winning sci-fi RTS returns with Homeworld 3. Assume control and battle through fleet combat in dazzling, fully 3D space while the award-winning story unfolds on a galactic scale.

Strategic freedom is yours. Hulking space derelicts called megaliths bring 3D terrain into the classic Homeworld battlespace. Use the crumbling remains of an ancient civilization to funnel foes into a brilliant ambush or hide your fleet from powerful enemies. Fortresses teem with menacing turrets and invite your strike craft into dangerous trench runs deep behind enemy lines. But not everything is in your control. Dangerous space phenomena like particle storms and asteroid fields will test even senior commanders.

Attack head-on, with a clever flank, or even from above and below your foes. Homeworld 3’s fully simulated ballistics make line of sight and cover critical strategic considerations. Your fleet persists from mission to mission. Scars on your ships linger. Strike craft pilots and capital ship captains pass along critical information through battlefield chatter.

Homeworld’s timeless art style evolves with modern technology, offering an incredible sense of scale, destruction, and wonder. Strike craft fly in formation between hulking Battlecruisers against a backdrop of stars and nebulae. Iconic ships cast silhouettes over the remains of ancient civilizations. Explosions ripple and erupt across hulls as one fleet stakes its victory over another.

Homeworld’s game-of-the-year winning story continues. Since the end of Homeworld 2, the galaxy enjoyed an age of abundance thanks to the Hyperspace Gate Network. Cycles of plenty and war have come and gone. Now the gates themselves are catastrophically failing and Karan, who has passed into myth and religious idolatry, is the key to the mystery threatening a galaxy’s future.

War Games, the all-new three player co-op mode extends your game beyond the campaign. Fusing Homeworld’s RTS gameplay with roguelike inspiration, commanders take on a randomized series of fleet combat challenges. Claim powerful Artifacts that augment your ships with more power, speed, and, of course, weapons. Based on your results, you’ll unlock new fleets to shake up your strategy.

Your ultimate test of tactical skill comes in battle against human opponents. Sharpen your instincts in AI skirmish matches, before squaring off with human opponents in 1v1, free-for-all, or team battles.

Mods allow players to craft their own content for Homeworld 3 and share it with players around the world. From rebuilding maps with megaliths, to augmenting ships, the Unreal game editor is at your fingertips. If direct creation isn’t your thing, enjoy the creativity of the community by downloading mods hassle-free through in-game mod.io integration.

I have been a Homeworld player since the beginning and I loved the originals. The only positive thing I can say about this game is it's pretty. That is about the best comment I can make about it. Everything else is just half-a$$. Story was lack luster, length was short, and the mods are not there liked promised. Sorely let down. Do not purchase unless it is on sell for way off, like 50% are more off.

Definitely wait for this to be on sale. I thought it was fun. Campaign was short, but levels were pretty good. Graphics and music was good. Story was bad and I hated that they abandoned the story telling style of the first 2 games.

Great! I played the first two when they came out years ago, and this is a solid successor. Its doesn't seem as re-playable to me, but I'm older, and Homeworld 1 and 2 were new back then. There is an interesting additional game mode, but the same skirmish and multiplayer are back, with an additional game mode where you're given a small, persistent fleet to complete a string of missions. I prefer the large scale in the skirmish battles, though. Gameplay is essentially the same as it's always been, with some addition ways to take advantage of the environment - such as hiding units behind an asteroid, or traversing a tunnel in a space station a la Star Wars. The 3D nature of the gameplay is still standout - the Z axis is almost the star of the show! The visuals are great, with good graphics and memorable mission maps. Shiny ships, gleaming guns, realistic battle damage - ah Homewolrd! It is, ironically, much more atmospheric than ever. That's not to say that it's distracting ...

They butchered the Campaign mode to try to build some kind of competitive FOMO seasonal bullcrap, they simplified the mechanics way too much. There was so much promise but clearly the publisher did the devs dirty on this one. Oh....and its completely abandoned. So there ya go.

The only thing positive about this game with a sub-par campaign experience. The worst thing about it are all these priced DLC for factions that likely should just be included in the game. Predatory DLC practices that are really only seen in Warhammer games. Buy it at an extreme discount

Soulless money grab. Story is dull and rushed. Cutscene graphics remind me of original Starcraft. Unit pathing and formations make this almost unplayable. Do not buy.

Even with my love with the Homeworld series and all it has done for the sci-fi space genre, this game has been a major let down in terms of the story direction they took compared to the other drafts they could have gone with and the major swindle with the dlc season pass. Would barely recommend the game if it ever drops below $10, anything higher is robbery with the game being so quickly dropped after launch.
