Chicken Journey

Adorable little indie-platformer where you play as a cute chicken 🐓🐔 The pixel artstyle is lovely, and the interactions with the other (equally cute) NPCs are very charming. I think the [spoiler]trial of knowledge and yarn-puzzles [/spoiler] overstayed their welcome a bit, and since they are right after one another this part of the game felt like a drag. In contrast, the final area felt to short. Id still reccomend this game as I enjoyed it quite a bit, despite those little flaws

Really cute little platformer, short and well done, I love the art style and the platforming was very satisfying while offering rewards for going back with new skills.

I just finished the game. That was a BLAST. I am not one for platformers at all, but the cute graphics won me over, and I am so glad they did. The artstyle is amazing (now that I think of it I might take a screenshot and put it as my lockscreen tbh), the music and sound effects are very fun and cute too. I especially loved the forest music. The game has teensy tiny flaws such as not auto-saving after receiving an item, that felt very counter-intuitive to me but I learned that lesson early on and only had to go back for an item once, luckily. But the story, the dialogue, the humour, the overall vibe - it's INCREDIBLY cute and fun and relaxing. Much, MUCH love to the devs for creating such an adorable nice game! I was also pleasantly surprised by some of the puzzles, I won't spoil them but I thought some were very neat. This is a fun, short little puzzle-platformer. The graphics are cute and there is some minor customization for your chicken in the form of outfits. The gameplay is simple but fun enough for anyone to jump into. The platforming is quite easy but satisfying and the puzzles start off simple but ramp up as the game goes on without being overly challenging. This game is definitely worth a 'peck'.

I'm not a huge fan of platformers, but im so glad i gave this one a chance. It's not too hard and not too easy. took me 5 hours for 100% completion. Adorable, funny, challenging at times, and really enjoyable.
