About This Game

Continuing the tale of Enok and Istradarion, only a short time after their arrival in Altum-Mortus's proximity, the two heroes befriend their formerly believed enemies and join forces with two mystically powerful individuals. A, a Beyonder sorcerer with seemingly no peer in this universe in anything involving his art and Eleria that like Enok seems to be a chosen of many worlds herself. Soon, their new allies reveal to them that their common Beyonder enemies have targeted the races of Netherspace repeatedly, but have so far been unable to overcome their resistance due to their innate psionic strength and the support of the powerful Beyonder sorcerer, A. Facing a blight that will annihilate all the people of Eleria's race in the coming decades, she agrees to act as a diplomat to ensure the alliance of the Andraxian creators of Istradarion with her people. Soon, with the assistance of the AI companion of Enok, the original Netherpiercer spaceship is dismantled and with its resulting materials, four new spacecrafts are created. Though far weaker that their original, through Eleria's and A's powers they are bound to each pilot's strengths so as to perfectly grow along with them in all aspects, in such uncanny ways that will eventually make them dramatically dwarf the power of the Netherpiercer.

And thus a new fantastic journey begins...

Colorful and varied in its controls with random enemies and bosses appearing in every new game. Even in its easy mode it remains a bit hard, so I wish for something just a little bit easier if there is to be another game update. The ship moves faster and faster when not firing which makes for some very interesting looking moves as you try to reach a falling gem or power-up and the teleportation feels necessary for survival as an extra next to the shield. The stats are quite numerous and it will take time to figure out what works best to reach further into the game, but luck really did the trick for me with more frequent gem and power-up drops along with damage and healing per round. Overall quite an interesting game. I'd really like to try it on multiplayer at some point though, to see how well it works when playing with others.

Not a bad effort. The randomization helps from keeping things stale and the game really shows its colors after 30+ stages, when huge swarms of enemies appear to make survival a real challenge! The stats raising system is good and it really feels RPG-like in that manner. The variety in the ships isn't just cosmetic, as I noticed that each hero can more easily/cheaply raise his stronger stats than any of the others do, but the ship stats seem to cost the same for all heroes. Maybe something for the developer to consider changing in the future for even more variety? The pixel-art style bosses didn't drive me mad, but I liked the idea of them growing more and more dangerous and moving faster and faster as they take increased damage. Certainly interesting and fun enough to me so far...
