About This Game

From the team that brought you Severed Steel, dive into a vast open-world FPS designed for both solo and 4-player cooperative play!

You play as an explorer with exceptional combat skills who crash-lands on a mysterious planet. This planet is dominated by a ruthless mercenary force exploiting ancient technology to craft devastating weapons. Pursue the main quest to dismantle their operations, or explore the world at your own pace!

Explore a Seamless Open World

Every distant vista is within reach. Traverse a completely seamless world using your grapple hook, hoverboard, and a variety of unlockable powers.

Epic Battles and Colossal Bosses

Embark on a main quest to encounter towering colossi or stumble upon these foes during your explorations. Battle against diverse enemy classes such as pyromancers launching area attacks, elusive sappers planting turrets, and helicopters raining down rockets.

Flexible Singleplayer and Co-op Gameplay

Jump into cooperative play from the start with no mandatory tutorials. Progress on the same save whether in solo or co-op mode, and tailor individual difficulty settings within the same multiplayer session. Note: Co-op play is supported through Steam Friends invites (random matchmaking is not available).

Unlock Secrets and Power-Ups

Echo Point Nova is filled with hidden weapons, character enhancements, and stylish cosmetics. Collect agility orbs to enhance your mobility, and unlock weapon attachments by racking up kills.

An Accessible Game

Echo Point Nova's default settings and recommended difficulty are pretty hard core! But there's loads of options for all players to set things up the way they like.

This game is that scratch, a titalfall 2, surfing, rocket jumping, movement, kill em all shooter and open world game? I love it, it’s so simple and fun

I absolutely LOVE this game. This game is what every FPS player wants. The game is an absolute fun to play. No other game will ever be worth your money as this game. I was led to this game after playing severed steel and falling in love with it, so I went on to explore more games from the same developer. After checking few videos of game play reviews and steam reviews I bought it and it was one of the best decision I ever made. Not only is the game full on detailed open world, it features intense parkour action, smooth controls, great soundtracks, beautiful visuals and some great weapon collection which you can acquire throughout the game. The game allows players to grind skins for all their weapons and characters. There are also various skills that can be unlocked. The world map features multiple Biome with their own unique challenges. The game has a story but that is not its strong suit and yet it does a good job in explaining what happened to the world. there are also some really ...

Once I have the perks, I love doing sick flips in my hoverboard at 360+ kph while activating slo mo and noscoping several enemies, then doing a grind to reload all my ammo. This is a super fun and unique FPS game. Even though it's singleplayer (with coop I haven't tried...) the aerial motion/momentum/aiming gives me big nostalgic Starsiege Tribes feelings.

This game is a masterpiece, it has some of the smoothest movement I've ever seen, with the perks making it even more fun. The progression is great, it gives a reason to find all the collectibles, as even the hats, which might seem cosmetic, have a gameplay purpose and power you up. The collectathon was still fun due to the presence of the radar and the check list which makes finding collectibles fun and when completing this game and it's free expansion I never felt the need to look at a guide. The weapon mastery grind was the worst part of the game, but it's still fine, and kept me switching weapons, and using some weapons that I might have ignored otherwise, but I did think it was genius removing it in the expansion, as I already completed it in the main game. The perks add depth to the game adding a leveling system which doesn't feel like a leveling system and can be flexed however you want it feels similar to the sphere grid in FFX, but unlike in that game, you can just go back and ...

Echo Point Nova is fun. The main design philosophy is the Rule of Cool and, it shows. You can glide, grapple, flip, rocket jump, quick scope, bounce, freeze, hammer, free fall and quad jump your way through the generously laid open-world. Chaining movement tools and gunplay leads to a very fun experience that encourages experimentation and does not punish switching things up. EPN is, to me, a true indie darling. It showcases a fully realized vision by the minds behind it. Of course things evolve and get corrected during development and with community feedback, but I do feel like the game never really veered too far off its core ideas : making a fun, movement intensive fps. Now the ride did have its bumps : - Movement is overpowered ; if you keep gliding and jumping and grappling you will NEVER be hit by anything. It's not about proper placement or smart line of sight handling, if you want to be invincible just go really fast. This greatly trivializes the whole experience. - Small la...

I did not like this game, but I know other people will. The inability to disable camera tilt (or at least I couldn't find it) and floaty, delayed camera make this an absolutely miserable shooter experience. I think it might have mouse smoothing or mouse acceleration on, with no way to turn it off. I don't find the rest of the game compelling enough to play it any further. That said, I know that this will jive with a lot of people, and many won't mind playing with aim assist and/or an easier difficulty. It's cool, and I see the appeal, but personally I found no satisfaction in Echopoint, only frustration.

One of the best indie "movement shooters" out there. It solves the one problem games of this genre have in common: the lack of scale to do the gameplay justice. Echo Point Nova breaks the curse of short campaigns featuring linear levels that keeps holding small indie teams and their fantastic movement and gunplay systems back. It stretches its legs with not one but TWO massive open world playgrounds and a sizeable main quest, giving its mechanics enough breathing space to finally grant the genre a chance to feel like more than just a collection of excellent tech demos and cool proofs of concept.

For the last 20 years, I thought I did not like FPS games- they got repetitive and boring after a few hours. Recently, I'm finding that I really enjoy super fast-paced shooters. This is the most fun I've had with a game in a MINUTE, and I highly recommend it. It took me 3-4 hours across the free demo (if you're uncertain, I'd recommend testing the demo out first- it really sold me) and the start of the full game to get a feel for the movement system, and now, between grapples, quadruple jumps, and the hoverboard's raw momentum capacity, I hardly touch the ground. Exploration and collection is made easy and incentivized, but you're (mostly) given free rein to rocket around wherever you want to, being a terror to the mercs and mechs around the map. $25 is a steal for this, and the devs seem to still be releasing new content in the game as FREE expansions which is unheard of in today's world of paid DLCs and microtransactions; as of Aug 2025, they've released a whole new world, (which I'...
