Lily's Well

Do you like horror action adventure games? Want to experience a heart-breaking story with a enjoyable ending? Have you played some of the older point-and-click adventure games and did not find them annoying whatsoever (At the very least, not *too* annoying)? Are you the type of person who absolutely hates spending money on video games? If all of these are true, try it. It's free, and good.

Incredible experience, especially if you're a completionist. 2.5 hours (with a little prior knowledge) and I've gotten the "true ending," which you will definitely appreciate. If you're playing this blind, I recommend not being too afraid to try things (you'll want to try everything eventually anyways.) The dev(s) did a great job removing tedium across multiple playthroughs, so don't worry about retracing your steps too much. Horror elements are relatively tame imo, especially given the low-res aesthetic. Jump scares aren't too frequent and are never unappreciated. Caveats: I love psychological horror with a milder aesthetic (like DDLC), but I can't stand more realistic horror games because they're too intense. If you're looking for something intense, this isn't it imo. I have some minor complaints, like no "Exit" button in the main menu (bad for fullscreen), and some stuff I can't describe without spoiling, but nothing that detracts from the experience significantly imo. I absolutely adored this game, it was fantastic. Something so small and simple, yet absolutely divine. The storytelling was great, the dialogue was great, all the little features and environment was amazing, and the ending was just perfect. Lily's Well is one of the few games, where I saw a full lets play online, and STILL got the game because it looked so great. I highly recommend, please support the developer(s) and play this amazing game :)

Hard to review a free game but it does its thing and it does it well. Definitely graphic.
