I guess I'll leave a detailed review here since none of the ones available as of this writing seem to talk much about the game. Alright, here we go, time to satisfy my hero complex! So straight up, the game isn't terrible, but it is very confused. It doesn't know if it wants to be a visual novel, a rhythm game, a board game or a fighting game. The problem here isn't necessarily that in itself, but rather that it doesn't do ANY of those particularly well. It also soft locks mid battle for no reason sometimes. Every stage starts off the same. You start on a tile with a "scope out" tile next to you, and a question mark. There are 3 characters in the game, you can't choose which one you play as, they each take turns. Every actions on the Monopoly like board switches your character. So, back to the tiles. Every character has 3 "SP" bars under their name. These SP points are used to do various things on tiles, such as the "scouting tile". It does, the "scouting tile" that is, what it says...

About This Game
【Story】
This is a world where humans and the conscious beings known as Kururu coexist.
The study of the essence and mechanisms of Kururu has not yet reached any conclusions that have achieved widespread consensus.
However, it is generally agreed that it is a form of life that exists in harmony and resonance with all human mental and physiological rhythms,
capable of interacting with humans during cognition, thought, or communication.
Humans must maintain a benign balance with Kururu to ensure the stability of their sanity and cognitive abilities.
However, only a very few humans can visually identify, physically perceive, and manipulate Kururu, and conduct systematic research on them.
We call these individuals "Tuners."
This summer, Mioi (barely) passed the professional exam and came to Baixiang City as an apprentice Tuner, along with Kasula and Syss.
This is a coastal city with nearly two centuries of history but not much communication with the outside world, which, however, has attracted the attention of the Tuners Association in the past decade.
As the routine tasks were carried out, this metropolis began to exhibit abnormalities, with phenomena of group dysregulation becoming increasingly common and severe.
At the same time, two mysterious Tuners who had received special commissions also arrived in Baixiang City...

All Style No Substance. Pretty art, Terrible Gameplay Good Voice Acting, Terrible soundtrack. For a game called beat rider, there are no good beats
Cute art. Bad game. Controllers are incredibly stiff and the game feels unresponsive and frustrating to play.
