As a pixel artist and game dev frustrated it was very nice story! needed to be longeer

It's an okay narrative focused game. The graphics are charming and the story segments are broken up by a fun if slightly frustrating puzzle platformer game, The story itself has its ups and downs, i found the characters a bit flat but the short length and suspense inbetween chapters made it easy to finish in one go without stopping. The ending is pretty interesting and can be predicted if you paid close attention to what the characters do and say.

If you're struggling with a passion project, and you're wondering what all of this you're doing is for, you definitely need to play "GOODBYE WORLD". It's a story, maybe a bit of an autobiography, of the real struggles of starting something and then losing the light a little bit of the way. Accompanied by small bouts of "platforming" gameplay similar to the nostalgic titles like Kirby: Dream World or Super Mario, this game's "levels" get progressively harder as the narrative also peaks. The different "tints" that you can choose from prior to the platform game evokes a charm, reminiscent of the old colour scheme they used in classic Nintendo-style games mentioned before. It was a wonderful journey and I hope the creators continue to see that what they are creating is meaningful, even if they're the only ones to enjoy it.
