Fun Roguelite with a lot of different heros, abilities and combinations to allow for many, many different runs. All the fun of min/maxing an RPG party without the annoying micromanaging of every single move. The one nitpick I have is once you have unlocked everything and you're playing endless mode, it doesn't really matter how well you do, at some point you will fight enemies with instant kill abilities that wipe the party. Not truly endless if you're just autokilling my party at random intervals. Devs, please remove that one feature. It's really the only thing keeping me from playing this more.

Solid autobattler roguelike with sub 1 hour runs. Pro: + actually roguelike - you work with what you get + challenge modes give interesting twists on the base mechanics + overall the puzzles of "how to make X mechanic go brr" are fun + looks well made, no bugs so far Con: - a bit too easy. think of Against the Storm: prestige 20 is challenging because you need to pick stuff from a small number of options; and in TLF you have LOTS of options throughout the run
Great game for those who enjoy the genre. Experimenting with different setups/heroes/items etc is fun. Doesnt have infinite replayability but enough challenges, achievements and other stuff to make it well worth your money/hour spend with it. Great for pick up and play sessions like 20mins or so as well. Played almost exclusively on steam deck which works well, although you may need to check community layouts or tweak it yourself to make the most out of it.
Hey Hotloop... Teddy's Haven - A Fantasy Inspired Shop Simulator stole your assets :)
Last flame NUMBAWAN!
It's alright for an auto battler. The passives are pretty all over the place and the characters are not balanced at all... but that's kind of the fun. I think status effects are just mostly bad. Passives based off summons count have been the most Op strategy for most of my runs. That and random legendary item combos.
The Last Flame is an evocative narrative-driven adventure that weaves together elements of emotional storytelling, atmospheric exploration, and subtle puzzle-solving into a cohesive and memorable experience. Developed by a small indie team, the game distinguishes itself through its focus on mood and character development rather than traditional action or mechanics-heavy gameplay. It invites players to immerse themselves in a hauntingly beautiful world where themes of loss, hope, and resilience are delicately explored through environmental storytelling and poignant interactions. Set in a visually striking and often melancholic landscape, The Last Flame uses its art style and sound design to evoke a deep sense of atmosphere. The environments are richly detailed, filled with subtle visual cues that hint at the backstory and emotional state of the protagonist. The interplay of light and shadow, particularly the titular flame, plays a crucial role not just as a gameplay mechanic but as a m...
Not my usual genre, but I bought this hoping for something I could play on auto-pilot. Turns out not really, there are a lot of decisions, and a lot of reading of skills, items and so on. But the game is really fun, and what tipped the scales for me were the numerous challenge modes, each generally requiring a different approach to the game. My only real beef - not everyone is gonna want to play the game 20-25 hours to unlock all the heroes and content. An "unlock all" option would have been nice.
Fun, easy to learn. Good cozy game.
This is just the crack my brain needed, solid automaker autobattler minus all the competitive nonsense and just discovering stuff at your own pace.
