This looks like it will be a very interesting and fun game, however there are a few things that are really clunky and detract from the experience so far. 1: No way to move machines. Once it's placed, its locked there. Sure you can pull it to your inventory but then there's no way to be sure you replace it accurately. A button that locks the machine in its current configuration, throws a grid on the floor, and lets you move the machine around would solve this perfectly. Its very frustrating to place down a clone of a machine and realize that I didn't quite line it up correctly. 2: No way to replace parts. I'd like to be able to change the length of an arm without having to tear down everything connected to that arm. Either a way to disconnect the structure up to that part and re attach it later, or a way to just select a part and replace it with a different size of the same part would be nice. This one appears to be inaccurate. *3: "Programming" records everything. This o...

About This Game
Features
- Realistic Physics
Both machines and blocks are simulated in a way that mimics real life physics. Machines need to be driven by motors. Links with many parts attached are heavier. Weight needs to be taken into consideration when choosing the right motor (choose too small of a motor and you end up with a slow moving, overloaded machine.) - Easy click and place machine building
Just click on whatever part you want to add and the game will show you were that part can be attached. - Simple machine teaching
Just drag the link you want to move to where you want it to be and add a move command. Open or close the gripper and add a grip command. Play back your command chain to see your machine move through all the poses you defined (and hopefully do something useful along the way.) - Unlimited possibilities
Want to create a machine with 6 independent arms? No problem. How about a machine with 2 Grippers working in tandem? Go right ahead. Want to activate a machine when another machine reaches the end of it's command chain? We've got that covered. - 10 challenging levels
Figured out a machine configuration that works great in the first level? Neat. You might need to rethink your approach in the next level though. Each level poses a unique challenge and there's no one machine design to rule them all. - Detailed in game help
Being a Block Line Engineer is no walk in the park. Building, teaching and optimizing machines is complex work. But do not worry, for you are given The Block Line Engineer's handbook; An in game guide that covers everything from blueprint creation to machine disassembly.
- Blueprints
Proud of your newest design and looking for a way to reuse it quickly in other levels? Blueprints are the way to go. Drop your machine on a blueprint slot to make it easily reusable.

User Reviews
I really like the idea of a Zachtronics game that is more physics based and less mathematical, but this game feels confused on that topic. Like for example why do parts cost money and why do you need to buy them to place them? The goal of each level is to get as many blocks in the hole as possible, so it seems like we should just be able to place whatever we want and then optimize later if we want to. I would recommend this game with just a few QOL updates to gameplay and UI and such: - It would be nice to see the grid so I can line up machines easier - More clear description of the goal and win conditions. For example I am working on level 3 and I have 4 arms that are dropping blocks down the slopes. Most of the blocks are getting into the hole but for whatever reason the "finish" flag bar keeps resetting preventing me from finishing the level. - Easier synchronization of machines. I would like to be able to group two machines together to control them like one - For a game...
Refunded! Should really be an Early Access title, can´t even finish the tutorial because the UI doesnt let me build some parts. Plus: Only three resolutions selectable (max is 1080p, really?)
Good but frustrating. I couldn't get the parts to do what I want. I'm sure with time I'll figure it out but it'd be nice to control motor speed so I could program actions more precisely. I saw a catapult type robot in the video for the game but trying to recreate that is very tricky, though I am only 2 hours in and maybe with more practice I'll be able to do it. Still, I've had a good time so far.
Game is fun, does need some polish though. Also, there is no quick and easy way to report bugs afaik. A sort of F8 Button like for example in Subnautica would really aid to get feedback back to the dev.
it's a bit clunky, how you build your machines might make it seem worse, still very fun to play and cool to look at your fancy contraptions when you finish a level. more in depth review will come after i've played more but so far it's exactly as advertised, & was worth the money, i see my self spending days playing this game when i need something to challenge me & not stress me out.
Edit: I decided to change my review to negativ. Overall this game could be good, but since there has been no update that enhances the gameplay I see no point in buying it. Original review: A very interesting concept, though content wise the game is in my opinion still more early access than a full release. I hope there will be more building possibilities, as well as more options for the commands (such as waypoints instead of full stops, movement speed/time, etc.)
Puzzle game that isnt hard or fun, if it had a sandbox id say it would be cool.
Refunding this game for now game for now may come back to it later, but some of the glitches it currently has make it next to impossible to play such as getting stuck in a continuous scroll for the screens the programming of the robot seems to be a little confusing but that may be due the continuous scrolling through the steps and the inability to use the built in help because of it scrolling
I enjoyed it, but its very much a clunky game. Feels unfinished. Could be so much more.
