Music, fighting and rhythm is really fun. If you want this for platforming, I would not recommend.

A revolutionary rhythm game that needs more attention. Something somewhat misleading about this game is that you don't already need "rhythm" to be decent at this game. Part of the joy is developing that, and especially at the beginning, it gives you room to grow. The difficulty scaling is done masterfully through the consistently difficult bosses and enemy evolution. The combat is so smooth and satisfying so unique and there's always different ways to do it. Between jam combos, counter attacks, combo blending, and overdriving, hitting things with a guitar has been revolutionized. There is an insane amount of content (spectra doors, rhythm tower, arcade, etc.) to always keep a challenge available even when I'm writing this 50 hours in. The characters and dialogue and world-building in general feel so real which connects you to the beautiful story. Something else this game does amazingly is make the story not about you. Amazing shadow dropped game by Shinji Mikami's studio! Fighting robots and bosses to the beat was an absolute blast! That Xenogears reference came right outta nowhere, I need to know who came up with that. There's still more side content that I haven't gotten to yet so I'll give that a try. Either way, this game was robbed at the 2023 Game Awards.

Brilliant, perfect little game wearing its passion on its sleeves. So much heart, humor, charm, creativity, ingenuity in the details. Fun combat that doesn't get old. Love the workplace satire throughout the dialogue and HR memos.

In my Personal opinion, the game is Perfect in the direction it wanted to go. Maybe someone will point out to me something that is bad about the game, but as of now I cannot find anything bad personally.
