[h2] Game is 100%'d at time of this review. [/h2] [b] 8.5/10 [/b] An amazing game. Great telling of a spiderman story, while also being different from the typical spiderman we've gotten. After having seen the Jerma best of spiderman video, I can see now how this is a remaster. I'm glad they changed how peter parker looks in the remaster, because he did not look like peter parker in the original. Unfortunately this game has massive issues in terms of graphical optimization, as well as some bugs in gameplay. Really wish it was a more polished game because it could have easily been at least a 9.2/10 if it had no flaws in how it ran. Now the DLC was a boring slog, with lots of time padding in part 3, and even more bugs and issues than in the base game. If there was no DLC, if the game was properly optimized, I genuinely would have rated this game a 10/10. "A superhero masterpiece that swings high and delivers even higher." After nearly 30 hours of playing Spider-Man Remastered and finishing all the DLCs, I can confidently say this is the best superhero game I’ve ever played. It truly amazed me with its characters, their stories, and how everything was brought together so well. The story is gripping from start to finish, the action feels smooth and satisfying, and the graphics are absolutely beautiful. The city feels alive, and just swinging around as Spider-Man never gets old. Whether it was fighting villains or just webbing through the streets of New York, I enjoyed every single second. I did face a couple of crashes at the very beginning, but after that, it ran perfectly fine. I’ve seen a lot of reviews mentioning issues with launching the game or bugs, but luckily for me, it worked without needing to fix anything. Nice combat, cool 2-boss boss fights. I couldn't care for the story of the main quest. Most quests were good, except missions with MJ and [spoiler]Miles[/spoiler], which were a slog. Enemy diversity is good and offers a good challenge on medium difficulty. I'd recommend the game on sale!

From the first moment I played, the game was super fun. The PC port is great, runs smooth and well optimized. The combat mechanics are really versatile and satisfying :D. Swinging with webs feels amazing, and exploring New York makes you feel like the real Spider-Man. The story is very engaging, like being the main character of a movie under my control. Both the action scenes and cinematic moments are really well done. I enjoyed it a lot, and at the end I even thought, I wish it didn’t finish.

it's undoubtedly well-made, but lowkey i got so bored with this game i just stopped playing altogether. not for me. if it's for you, then great, im happy that's the case.

I actually got a platinum for the PS4 version a year ago, and wanted to do it again for the pc. Game is absolute peak, they cooked when they made the OG game. The remaster is another thing though.. the game is still amazing, almost perfect but what holds this one back from the one I so loved on the ps4 is the technical errors. Super lag, TABing on games in general kinda sucks but here it's horrendous. It'll heat your pc up super fast, sometimes it made my background go black, and other bugs. The DLC is also a little hit or miss in both with the story tbh, but jesus the costumes are perfection, the combat is perfection, love playing though this everytime. How amazing the ps4 version was is the reason why even with the bugs and performance issues I could platinum this 3 more times on the PC if it was possible without getting bored once.

This game was incredible from start to finish. I played this game because a friend of mine recommended it to me, and I'm so glad I did. Definitely one of the best superhero games I've ever played, up there with the 2021 Guardians of the Galaxy video game. Played this game for the story, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Story was entertaining, captivating, and had me on edge throughout the duration of the game. The ending was easily a 10/10, and actually made me shed a tear. Only complaint I have about the game is the MJ missions, I do feel like they were rather repetitive and boring to say the least. Overall 10/10 game! Highly recommend.
