About This Game

The Nameless God is back in Tales Of The Under-Realm: After Midnight!

This time, the omniscient God with the ability to peek into a person's past after they've died will be uncovering the life of a young woman serving as a guard in the town of Lothark, under Guard Captain Samael.

Her life takes an interesting turn with the arrival of two exotic beauties from Dingirra: Nadja and her daughter, Cynthia. They end up taking over a club of dubious reputation called the House of Hands. Cynthia works there as a bartender while her mother dances.

Our protagonist quickly strikes up a friendship with Cynthia which earns the jealousy of Tara, the protagonist's childhood friend and fellow guard with a habit of letting her shyness keep her from expressing her feelings properly.

Changing relationships are the least of our protagonist's problems, however.

Samael has secrets of his own-- like what he's hiding in the basement. When his daughter, Evelyn, tries to find out with the help of three other students from her magic school, she's the only one who returns. A few days later, the father of one of the students goes missing as well. If that wasn't enough, a merchant is found dead at Nadja's place.

And that would only be the start of a series of murders, all with one thing in common: happening after midnight.

Who is behind them? What do they have to do with our young guard? Will she too become a victim of the mysterious assassin? And who will she choose when pulled between Cynthia and Tara?

There's only one way to know: join the Nameless God and discover what happened in the town of Lothark those cold nights After Midnight.

TFTU: After Midnight is a dark / gothic visual novel with multiple endings. Your choices matter and will determine who stays alive and who dies. Discovering the whole truth about the murders will require more than one playthrough.

Ignore the pictures this game is AVN but more just visual novel....... it has "adult scenes" as much as an average movie for 18+ (I mean action ones from 90s and 00s not xxx ones) It is good story but it is fully railroaded but you do have some important choices but you can not choose where to go but it depends from your choices. It is good game but if you look for game with xxx scenes this is not it. Game lasted for me for one ending about 4 hours and I ran on barely 2-3 short xxx scenes.....

I really enjoyed this and brought it just after it released! I managed to get all the endings after a few attempts it took me a bit. Totally recommend this game especially if you love lewdness and a balance of good story too. Just wish there was more :D

The story telling and art are great, but if you don't perfectly chose every decision for a particular path then you just die. It's fine to have some secrets paths with a tight decision tree like that, but it should be the exception, not the rule.

as usual, Winter Wolves give us a wonderful Yuri VN With beautiful women and a story with lots of twists and turns. This world has a lot of stories around it that have been released or being written. My favourite is Obviously Loren Amazon Princess, even though it does not have the Gorgeous CG;s this has. The one that came after that, which is a prelude to Loren, I got half way through as It drags on for me, it is good in places but I got bored arena fighting, but the Yuri CG's were nice, but, like Loren, you can play male or female, Gay or straight. The Wizard is in both, as is the mentioned vampire and N'Mar. Samael is in Loren as the Army General and is an asshole in that to. The Vampire mentioned only lives in N'mar After the Main Battle that is stated, which you do in the Prelude VN. That is also where you meet Zak the Vamp,, you meet him in Amazon to in N'Mar. So this is before Any of that and finishes, depending on your ending, after that. I do recommend this for sure.

Short version: It's generally an upgrade from Hazel Overall it's an improvement from their previous title set in the same universe. The plot progression is more organic and smoother this time. Personally I'm not a big fan of
air dropped villain from nowhere, but if it works it works. It's better than forcing random Joe Schmoe NPC with a portrait you encounter to be a shoddy villain.
Both character routes are on equal footing in terms of writing. The endings are... certainly quite the curve balls. The good kind, not the ones that cause terribly bodily harm. Hazel already had a touch of mature themes, and AM has them as well this time. IMO, some of the more gruesome bits are glossed over too easily. I mean the poignant, emotional, personal drama and pain of Evelyn's family. There's narrating from an uninvolved third party, but the god with many tentacles is hardly a good speaking piece for the tragedy of the people is it? If you want to kill people off and le...

A rather short but nice VN. The mystery is interesting even on multiple playthroughs if you don't learn the whole truth the first time. The main character is interesting enough as is your two romance options being complete at odds with each other even though it begs the question why you even hang out with one of them if you disagree with them on every level. You can be friends with different people but in such a stressful time where these kind of opinions really matter it seems weird to hang out with someone who is very much opposed to your beliefs consistently. My only real issue with the story is the fact a supposedly skilled, talented, and smart wizard can fail to simply word his questions better in certain scenes. It really makes me believe he is naturally talented but just a moron at the end of the day for not simply wording questions as 'Do you know what killed x' or "did you witness the death of y" and it would solve like the entire story in a very simple way. Another iss...

This game has a good story and has a good playtime for the price. Like always watch your choices and time you have. I really like all the branching paths I discovered already. I will be waiting for more of the Under-Realm series.
