edit: lol i now have almost 100 hours in the game so i guess it really WAS money well spent. Each and every Goddess feels unique, the gameplay and music is great, i can't wait for the ranked ladder to officially open. Played it all day, was absolutely addicted, started in the morning and its now 11pm, my eyes hurt. I was a bit cautious about a card game with a price tag but by the time i finished the story i had racked up 14 hours so thats a quid per hour before even getting into multiplayer or anything except story, If the game takes off and is really popular then it could be absurdly good value for money but even if it doesnt im pretty ok with the time-per-pound spent and the amount of enjoyment i got out of it.

This game simply needs better balance. The Egypt campaign is not only a slog, but incredibly frustrating. Between the enemy being able to outpace you and having better units, and how the game works meaning going second puts you at a massive disadvantage. With the god I was running only generating 4 mana on her own and with the deck they give you being so overpriced for how awful it is it's just too much to ask for the player to not only try again and again to get lucky to somehow be able to out tempo, but to slog through the boring and incredibly generic gameplay. Most units are overpriced for how little they do, and having cards that remove your opponents devotion (mana in this game that's generated by each thing on the board, leading to the incredibly snowbally gameplay). For starters the game needs more variety in each region. Blank stat sticks and a handful of generic effects really isn't enough to help the game feel good, and ends up being a 'out tempo or be out tempo'd' type of...
An overall fun little mythology themed card game. Great for killing time.
Don't be deceived by outward appearances, this is a very real contender for my favorite card game ever. Gives very strong Yu-Gi-Oh!: Forbidden Memories vibe.
The deck builder can be a bit frustrating since there is no undo button, nor do the cards you've already selected disappear from your inventory but the overall gameplay is fun. The fairly short campaign needs to be played at minimum thrice to to complete all the achievements. It not showing the choices you've previously selected feels tedious, especially since you cannot undo your choice once you proceed. However, the game is very fun and the "gacha" system is a "fun-strating" bonus. Looking forward to its online play should the game become popular.
Kamigami is a unique experience in card gaming. It almost feels like a board game, with cool gimmickg with every card. On top of that, the art is gorgeous, music is on point and the story mode feels really great to play. 10/10 card game, no regrets!
