The puzzles are great. The non-euclidean world is fine. Having walls randomly appear behind you that keeps you from backtracking is terrible. Why would that ever make for a better experience? If you get this game you'll spend your time aimlessly wandering through areas you've previously completed hoping to stumble upon the sections you haven't.

30 hours in, and I can say that the developer of this game might be insane. The game features a massive labyrinth reminiscent to the game Antechamber, filled with word puzzles. Take notes, you will not last long without them. If you like word puzzles and complex labyrinths, this might be a great experience, Good: - At least 30 hours of word puzzles, and hundreds more in the workshop (dear lord). - If you get stuck, you can teleport to the start freely. - :) Bad: - No music, and the only sound effect happens when you complete a puzzle. - At some point it felt like I was playing a roblox map. - Finding the puzzles that teach you their mechanic is a chore, and for this reason I kinda gave up.
A middle thumb if that were possible, but leaning on a thumbs up.
Ultimately I recommend this game if you are fine with using third party guides and maps, want to take extensive notes, or are satisfied with leaving a game only mostly finished. If having to use out-of-game resources is a turnoff and you really want to get 100%, this will become a slog.

Discovering the rules for the different blocks, and how those different rules interact, is a lot of fun. Stumbling into a new area and figuring out its local gimmick in one go feels very satisfying. There tons of hours of possible exploration and puzzle solving for the price. Some of the non-Euclidian moments are interesting or funny, and it's clear that there is a lot of love for Antichamber here. As others have said in their reviews, though, while getting lost in (or deliberately tricked by) the non-Euclidian corridors has a fun feeling of mystery at first, it eventually gives way to annoyance. This game has puzzles that made me want to respectfully hurt good people and I have spent over 20 hours ironing out just Level 1. That said, I definitely recommend this game.

Every time I play it I discover something new that makes me a bit more angry. Is it a good sign?

This is an extremely creative rule-discovery word puzzle game that will either delight you or break you. The puzzles are fantastic, clever, and brutally difficult, but I would only recommend getting this game if you can stomach purposefully horrible navigation through non-euclidean environments.

A very fun game that almost anyone can play. Even if you are still learning English, you can complete a good chunk of this game. I do wish there was some way to know where to go next. Perhaps a simple map of where you have already been would be nice, so that you can look up other peoples maps on the internet. But it is a great game nonetheless :8bitheart:
