The game certainly lacks polish in graphics and audio, but the core gameplay is interesting and the level design is great. The dev constantly puts in new mechanisms along the levels, making it a charming and enjoyable experience. I look forward to the developer's future games.

About This Game
The Fiendish Fillings want to become a sandwich, the Terrible Toasters want something to grill, the Bothersome Birds want to fill their stomachs, and the Malicious Mould wants to make something rot. Loaf just wants to sit on his bread board in peace, but in order to do so, he'll have to destroy everything that is out to get him... by screaming at them!
Each level has you play as Loaf with the objective to destroy all enemies by screaming at them. To control Loaf you use 5 buttons; move left, move right, scream, jump, and drop a slice. Different enemies have different strengths, so some may require prolonged screaming to eliminate. Screaming is not only good for damaging enemies, Loaf's scream can also propel himself across water, activate levers, inflate balloons, and more. Loaf is made up of 5 bread slices, Loaf has the ability to drop screaming slices off his back and re-join with them later. More points are scored for completing levels quickly, so strategically dropping slices next to where enemies are about to spawn will help to defeat them more efficiently. Figuring out where to drop slices plays a big part in the game's puzzle solving. Slices also act as health, a slice is lost from Loaf upon enemy collision. Beware though, each slice you drop gives Loaf one less slice of protection; if you touch an enemy with no slices attached, it is game over.
Screaming Loaf features 172 unique levels of puzzles, action, and platforming, with many different enemies to scream at and a variety of obstacles to overcome. The game is spread across 4 stories with humorous cutscenes between each chapter. You can also unlock accessories for Loaf, just for fun!

I cant tell if this game is good or not, but I've played 3 hours worth of it and I liked it lol. It's definitely a bit cursed. Appreciate how each enemy has a unique death sprite for your bread lol, and so many powerups.
Drop slices strategically to SCREAM at enemy condiments to kill them quicker. Enemy spawners have a countdown so you have a bit of time to plan. I played just 5 levels, before I wrote this review. I tried a few levels a bunch of times to get the 3 stars. Quirky game, but I like it!
A very silly game with a very silly premise and fairly clever level design. Recommended if you're looking for some light-hearted fun.
Absolutely mental
Wonderfully quirky game play, I would definitely recommend to anyone with a wacky sense of humour. The mechanics are rather clever and very unique. The style of the game is very cute and i cant wait to keep playing, we need more indie platform puzzle games nowadays.
Nice indie game. Funny concept that has surprising gameplay depth and an original mechanic of being able to duplicate yourself and leave slices around the level, which is crucial to mastering in order to complete some of them. Met the solo developer at Insomnia and had a laugh trying to beat one of the extremely difficult later levels! A great example of the spontaneous creativity of the indie scene - definitely worth buying for the price.
