Escape Academy

I would give this game like 2.5 out of 5. I think there are many people who will like this game but it's not my kind of escape room. The puzzles aren't very hard and everything you need to solve puzzles is close at hand. What makes it challenging is that there is a time limit to escape a room, and sometimes you are racing against a fictitious second player. Personally, I would rather have more time to look around and think and solve more challenging puzzles. Sometimes it was exciting to try to beat the clock, but often the timing just put too much pressure on me and I couldn't just sit and think and work out the logic of a puzzle. So, if you want a fast paced game with simpler puzzles, this is for you!

It's a really fun puzzle game! My friend and I played it in co-op and we both had a great time. Feels like the right amount of difficulty where we only got stuck a few times, but even those were because we were dumb and didn't see the solution. We finished the whole story and now I'm tempted to go back and get the achievements too.

Overall good, but if English is not our first language, then you can get stuck on some rooms just because you don't realize, "Oh...this is the part where I need to speak and think in English," which leads to using hints, which leads to replaying the level just to get A+. That was very annoying to me personally. And multiplayer in some rooms is just a liability rather than a fun experience with friends just because you have only 1 "copy" of an item that lets you continue (like glasses in the last room).

Great to play with a friend. The puzzles are not particularly hard though, but it's entertaining.

Very good coop, fun

Хорошая игрулька, но натыкалась на пару багов, из-за чего приходилось перепроходить уровень (но это в бесплатном дополнении, которое надо грайндить с другом, если хочется ачивки). Соло играть здорово в основные сюжетные комнаты. Половину времени слишком просто, половину - хорошо по сложности. Гайды не понадобились, разве что иногда подсказки помогали.

A fun escape room game. I particularly like that the hints initially nudge you in the right direction before they tell you how to solve the puzzle. It allowed me to know if I was at least on the right path but still let me attempt the puzzle before giving me the solution.

if you like puzzle and escape room games, this is THE game to pick up. Totally doable solo, but I went in with a friend because this was right up our alley. Co-op is particularly great, because it has a toggleable split-screen mode. You and your partner can not only exchange information verbally, but also visually. It had just the right amount of difficulty while not being particularly unfair. There's just no better feeling than figuring out a puzzle, then everything starts falling into place, and this game manages to give you that feeling repeatedly.

It does feel like an escape room, though at times some of the puzzles don't have a clear enough clue to follow the first time through. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and certainly worth the buy
