It's no secret that Cellings is heavily based on the cell sequence from Spore. But that's what makes it such a cozy experience. It's a fun little time-waster that feels like its own game. But what I like most is that it celebrates its inspiration, and if you enjoyed the early stages of Spore, then you'll have a very similar experience here. What makes Cellings so fun is that the devs took more than just the cell stage from the [i]release[/i] version of Spore (I'll get to that in a bit). Along with the same type and amount of customization from Spore, the game also changes the further you progress. You start as a blob, whose goal is to eat whatever it can to grow. When you evolve, you're given an intricate customization menu where you can design and evolve your blob further, by adding combat capabilities - or, interestingly, beautifications to make them charming to other cells. You can rotate your cell, add new parts (including appendages), and build and optimize them for your intended...

Good game. An excellent timekiller with interesting comic graphics. I would like a little better optimization, but for such complex graphics it's not bad. Fun gameplay, addictive. Very reminiscent of the game dispute, I love this game very much, it's good that I found a more recent alternative. I recommend the game!
