You have legit made a copy paste and not changed any of the problems from over 5 year ago. The player feels floaty, the animations are slow and laggy, the camera wobble is giving me vertigo, dino pathing is still broken, shooting the dinos feels like crits don't work, lack of content/innovation, etc. I can't even look straight up or down. Why aren't the dinos in herds? Why do they instantly flip 180 and run away from you? Why is the landscape littered with random BS foliage and rocks, but not dinos? Just feels more of the same. You have to grind twice as much, begin with this rifle that you have to pump 3-4 rounds into a dino just to kill it. What happened to '98 when you could headshot the dinos and instantly kill them. There were kill zones you had to hit and not just a heart and lungs. Maybe some Pro Hunt/Sniper Elite camera trailing the bullet. What about resupplying without having to go back to the menu? What about missions? Kill these small vermin dinos. Kill them during a hunt...

I like this well enough and look forward to the finished product - but the other day the game glitched and reset to starting from the beginning! I had accumulated enough points to unlock all environments and equipment, and was filling my trophy room with TRexs - now I'm back to square 1 and this version takes much longer to work up! Is there any way to return my progress other than playing through again? Anyone else have this issue?

Needs Many Many Many more Dino. Make some smaller carnivores that move much faster for challenge and in return take 1 shot only to kill, I feel like each Dinosaur has a 1 shot kill spot but it is too easy to hit. It should take more time to obtain the upgrades, The lack of different weapons is noticeable. Probably introduce a bird type hunt that requires a shotgun... that sort of creativity. Too much arcade not enough progressive feel. Take away the ability to track all dinos. Also throw in carnivores that dont belong; to hunt the player as shots go off even if it is a beginner map for the much needed surprise aspect.

So good so far! Great job, guys, this is way better than the previous game. I've been playing the OG Carnivores since the 90's and this really captures the feel of the original. Please keep it going and add more weapons and locations. Also, I would like to see the supply drop return. Keep up the good work!

So this game is supposed to be a remaster of the 2015 Carnivores: Reborn. It's mostly the same assets from the 2015 title, using a different game engine. This being a beta, I am assuming it's not the final version. I am a pretty big fan of the 2015 title, and the classic games as well. So I will say what I think it good about this new version of the game, and what I think would make it much better. One of the best things that greatly improve this version vs the 2015 version are the menu options to custom tailor the Dinosaur spawns to suite what you want to hunt. You can Modify the species that can spawn on any map, and the population density. This is a fantastic feature. Also, they have added un-lockable upgrades for the weapons. You can improve damage, range, and movement speed. I like this feature. They have also added more animations for getting killed/eaten by the dinosaurs. This is a much needed improvement. The dinosaurs seem to be a little smarter, and the Tyrannosa...

For a "playtest" this is pretty damn involved. It streamlines certain aspects of the original remake that, to me, were too grindy. Gems are far easier to get but not so easy that it destroys the experience. Another nice addition is making tracking without the radar system a viable, and much more rewarding, way of playing the game. I highly recommend anybody who enjoyed the original or the remake take a shot at this game. I have not found any real bugs to speak of and the dino AI is pretty decent and realistic. Can't wait to unlock more areas and hunt some of the biggest carnivores that ever roamed the Earth!
