I've been wanting to play this game for a while as seeing the pumpkin reminds me of Halloween and fall... And as you know, those two are delights favoured by goths, vamps, and ghouls especially! Thank goodness fall is almost here soon! Once I dived into the game, I had no idea what I was getting into, I went into this story blind. At the beginning, I was dumbfounded by how the mum refused to acknowledge the situation and played it off when her children's school asked about the sudden absences. The dad's actions in this story angered me, considering how he should've been there for his family, but he wasn't. There was so much going on in this story, I felt on edge with our protagonist, a young girl, having to endure so much and it had me thinking that this entire family needs professional help right away. I bought this on sale for 99 cents which was well worth the purchase and time spent reading Pumpkin Eater. Total completion of reading this visual novel took about an hour, but may be...
