A pretty simple platformer but charming and a good introduction to VR. The environments all look nice, the difficulty steadily ramps up and it provides a pretty solid experience all around even if the use of VR is limited to a camera mostly on rails. But compared to other 3D platformers it feels different enough to make it special. I will recommend it on sale though since it's shorter and a little generic but it's a cute and nice time all around.

this game was so fun, i had to play ever day until i finished it. i used a quest 2 with virtual streamer app.
Lucky's Tale: Cool To See, But Not Quite Holding Up
Lucky's Tale is probably one of the primordial Greek Titans of virtual reality, being released as a pack-in title for the original CV1 revision of the Oculus Rift(for the "young'uns" in the audience, the headset before the Quest) back when it still used an Xbox One pad. As such, it's probably one of the best games to get a modern remaster, and I could easily recommend it as a "intro to VR" title for anyone who's enjoyed games like Super Mario 3D Land or World. However, it doesn't quite hold its own as anything other than an intro, and it really isn't worth the $20 USD price point. Next, let's press on the controls. You can still use an Xinput-supported pad to play(just like the original), but you also get the choice of modern tracked VR controls(like the Oculus Touch, Valve Knuckles, and Vive Wands). However, during my playtime, I had to use a regular pad, since the Touch setup really isn't great. If it's any consolation, h...
