I fell off the bridge at the beginning of the game and got stuck endlessly falling with no way to restart from where I left off. Fix the goddamn game before you charge money for it, guys. I hate giving a thumbs down to games like this, but this is ridiculous.

Really interesting sometimes surreal visuals, great use of special effects and a very unexpected ending! It is a short game so the price is fair, pick it up if you're interested in a psychological horror experience. The developer was also very quick to fix a bug that caused endless falling, good job!

Full play through here: https://youtu.be/jtoFC5_TR6Y The game is incredibly short as mentioned by the creators and does have some glitches and no autosave, but I think it was actually worth the 4.49. The story does take an interesting turn and was a pleasant surprise. I do think because of the brevity of the game the escalation of what happens is a bit extreme and a little bit surprising. I think if they made the game longer to show how relationships became strained etc it would have done the story some favors. I think they did a good job with the visuals that they were able to provide as well.

I enjoyed this game quite a lot, very interesting and surreal story experience, I like the backstory creeping into the main one, the visuals are very stylistic and thought out, and I didn't expect the twists in the story. Well done 👏

Missing basic features like the ability to pause or save; no ability to recheck objectives, unclear objectives (couldn't even get any of the spooky stuff to trigger), poorly placed interaction triggers, jiggly lighting, and poor modeling. In short, this isn't worth money. This is a student project that ought to have been put up for free.

Buy on sale! They Look Like People is a walking sim, and a post-modernist riff on existentialist sci-fi fiction among the likes of 2001, Prometheus, and the more philosophical side of Star Trek. TLLP trades out the fear of the future found in the genre for the millenial's greatest fear: 'What if all the great things to do have been done? What becomes of an exceptionalist society if noone is truly exceptional? What if my dad's cooler than me as I am now or ever will be?' The games direction is really NICE and its a NICE little snack to play if you're looking to kill an hour or so. The game takes 30 minutes to play but I had not one, not two, but THREE crashes over my course of play. But that's more the fault of the piss poor unreal engine unable to handle lighting effects. Overall key points : Looks good, 30 minute Walking Sim, Game Crashes.

Pretty cool, kinda boring as well. There are a few bugs including doors not opening properly all the time. This is a school project and it does a good job and the price is low. Also quite experimental and minimal.
