Alright. The good? The art is very nice, can't hate pink and blue demons. What dialog I've gotten to so far is charming, and the 'antagonist' is a huge brat, love it. The music is very easy to understand and get into the rhythm of the beats, which is, y'know, good for a rhythm game. But overall, I'd rate it more as a meh than a solid "yes" because of a few complaints, which sucks because I really want this to be a game I'd recommend without a second thought. The Bad: Number one: The controls, having space as dash and shift as jump is extremely unintuitive. It's been an hour and a half and I'm still fucking up blue beats because I want to hit shift. A quick fix to this is letting the player change controls, but there are no general settings. And secondly, The beat counter being on the bottom of the screen is hard to get used to as well, I'm staring at it and trying to maneuver around enemies in my peripherals. There are other nitpicks but I'll chalk it up to being a skill issue and ...

Art is really nice, but that seems to be about it. Running at 240FPS music sounds off beat sometimes, capped to 60 it sounds fine, so maybe implement a 60FPS cap. Game crashed twice, once during the tutorial when I was hitting dashes perfectly and they kept saying I wasn't, and a second time during gameplay in a 20~ minute run. Can't recommend in it's current state, sorry. Edit: Dev contacted me for feedback and wants to improve their game, and I have nothing but respect for that! Looking forward to trying again. :)

Cute little indie rougelike! It's a little buggy and jank sometimes but never enough to actively ruin my enjoyment. And the demo's free! Give it a shot and if you like the demo I'd reccomend buying the game at full price, it's pretty replayable and I think I got my money's worth, plus there'll be new content updates in the future. -everyone always mentions this, but it bears repeating, the art + vibes are adorable. The character designs/dialogue is also really good too. They all have their own distinct personalities and I enjoyed just watching everyone do their thing. Loads of little touches help this, I love how Shoxza does a lil dance on the main menu, and the part where you dance with the twins, and how lyllh calls you out on just wanting to snuggle, and... -i REALLY like the forge system. Every item has a positive and negative effect, and 6 times per run you can forge an item to remove the negative effect and slightly buff the positive effect. Gives me a reason to plan long term ...

Full play through here: https://youtu.be/eJgLR9wVayg I'm gonna update my review since the creator has been improving the game, but it still has some problems. You can no longer continue if you lose and since some enemies decide that they want to dry hump you by continuously charging if you don't have a build to one shot good luck you'll need it. Certain rhythms especially in the third phase will not give you a attack beat for the longest so when you get the hardest enemies you also lose the ability to attack. The game doesn't do a good job of explaining what paired or befriended souls are at all and certain upgrades just do not work i.e. teddy does not work at all, megane has the bonus effect of pushing you back even though it's not listed in the item description something makes you slide across the FREAKING WORLD and I have no idea what it was. So descriptions could use some upgrading it's a lot better with a lot less glitches, but it's just so frustrating.

If you've ever wanted to play Hades but with adorable graphics and rhythm mechanics, this is that sort of game. The rhythm mechanics were a little hard to get down but ultimately it felt satisfying to master each level. I enjoyed trying out new builds on each run, figuring out what works best in both the battles and platforming sections of each level. There've been a few minor bugs here and there but ultimately nothing that detracted from the experience too much.

This is the perfect game for me! I've always wanted to enjoy a casual rhythm game that is replayable without the songs getting stale, especially one where I have the option to only use the keyboard! I think the way the game uses rhythm is completely unique and a legit way of creating new challenge as well as varying your play style just enough to keep you on your toes. I thought the game was a tad easy for me as I play a lot of rhythm games but the game really picks up starting on loop 2 [especially if you take the +25% song speed increase]. The game is ultra satisfying and stays on the razors edge between simple casual fun and ramping challenge. I think this game is extremely elegant with everything it does to create your experience, from the simple yet funky tracks that are easy to follow the rhythm to. My main complaint with "rhythm games" that I have played is they will constantly swap between giving you notes for the rhythm and notes for the melody and sometimes you can get comple...
