meh. it has a lot of fun elements, but the cons out weigh them. pros great controls. It always felt like I was in control, the character felt snappy, and responsive. there were many rooms that were fun to play. cons such a time waster, you have to waste 40 seconds, to retry room 5, or a minute to retry room 7. it's very annoying to have to wait through 5 rooms that you have down, just to retry a room 1 time. This makes the game take forever, and I keep spacing out waiting till I could retry a room that was difficult. I also wish there was a reset button, that way you can quickly retry if you mess up one of the earlier easier rooms. pizza should be usable between any levels, I should not need to waste even more time running all the way back to use it. at 5 bucks I would still recommend it, but there are definitely some areas that could be improved.

About This Game
TEN is a challenging and brutal platformer in which you face a relentless gauntlet of ten-second deathtrap rooms in a desperate struggle to escape your fate... and find out what the hell is going on around here.
Collect tokens, purchase a variety of upgrades and learn how to overcome each floor's onslaught of saw blades, cannon fire, lasers, bizarre monsters and more.
If you're up to the challenge, TEN:
- Rewards learning through failure and encourages you to die, try, die, and try again.
- Takes you through multiple floors of ever-evolving threats, challenges and deadly bosses.
- Doesn't end the way you might expect.
- Please listen, there isn't much time, we have to warn you before the memory backup fails, you must- SIGNAL LOST.
- Is accompanied by an unreasonably epic original soundtrack by the legends at dBXY.
- Seriously, the game doesn't deserve a soundtrack this good.

Quick Score: 4/5 Notes: Really well made game overall. Took about an hour to finish the game on my first playthrough, difficulty wasn't initially that impressive. But then i realized at the end there is a rank it gives you (presumably based on death/time), and then on the main menu i also realized there is a difficulty selection and I was only playing on normal mode. Update: Went back to the game to finish off getting S rank on the hard mode, and realized the game was actually much easier than I was making it out to be. On every floor if you run back to the "lounge" area you can full heal 1 time. This makes the game substantially easier, and makes the game easy enough that it slightly lowers my opinion of the game. Still decent overall though.
Awesome little action platformer. The survival and boss rooms are fun and varied and story was great and had some surprising depth to it. Achievements are on the way - excited to see what they'll be. It's the dev's first game and it's fantastic - can't wait to see more from the dev.
Finished in 2 hours, spent another 90 minutes listening to this banger of a soundtrack in the jukebox menu. Story was deeper than it needed to be and I mean that in a good way, could easily set another TEN games in this world. For $5 this is an easy recommend.
.
It's a damn good platformer with awesome music and some decent replayability, at a great price
This was a really fun game. great time killer. Great story and the challenge makes you want to keep trying. The OST for this game is INSANE, I can listen to the sountracks all day honestly. Definitely will be going back for a replay sometime, to see if I can get a better time and less deaths. 10/10 game for me.
the soundtrack alone is enough to make me commit mass !#%$*@
As of posting this review I haven't even beaten the first level but this game is HELLA rage and I love it (maybe its only rage for me because I'm bad lol) but its super fun and the music is AMAZING definitely recommend if you feel like breaking your hand on your desk (like me!) or celebrating because your good at 2D platformers (unlike me!)
Excellent controls & fun gameplay
