Horrendous frame rate!
such an awsome scary retro vibe, 10/10!
Game's impossible to beat. According to Youtube playthroughs, this door should have a key and be able to be opened. But it doesn't. All I can do is unlock the combination door, which leads me to yet another locked door. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/2258056846074015125/31FF940E7A464CF8D2211A1E9DA87FEB7A10BC40/
For a cheapo horror game, I have played worse (I have also played better mind you as well) This from what I can tell is a new-ish developer and what he has pulled off is totally passable and I can forgive the issues as he has some ideas and does try Pros: * Some decent jumpscares * At least one of the puzzles is randomised every run * Some good attempts at fleshing out this short experience * It kept me amused for its runtime * Its very cheap! Cons: * Mouse Look Can wander and feel a bit floaty, Tabbing out and back will make your mouse go nuts till you click. * Could use a bit more of an explanation or some better way to clue to the player that you are looking at can be interacted with (Maybe more than sometimes but not always your aim dot going red) * Hiding in the wardrobe doesn't work in my experience *
Game just ends (I got a good ending and it was just a Good Ending! You Escaped!)
The games quite janky, but I cant help but like it. Has a nice atmosphere and the jumpscares, while cheap, actually got me good. Only issue I have is that theres wardrobes to hide, but they dont do anything, as the creature is just always on you. The game is bugged at the middle of progression to where you can't advance there's a youtube walkthrough on the game but in real time the part that is bugged is a door that you are supposed to turn the key and walk through but there is no key spawned thus making it impossible to walk through
playing through this game reminded me of among us. it was very sus.
