You can create truly unique cramped urban hellscapes with its 3D structure positioning, but there is not much else to do. Gameplay loop is very simple: you catch space debris to get resources for building houses and decorations. City population grows by increasing people happiness: every alien species likes its own style of furnishings and having special buildings around. You can also assign jobs to them, but there are total of like 4 of them including builder. And that's about it: there is no fail states, only one type of very mild dangers from environment and few similar objectives to achieve on every level from the campaign, bonus maps and free style modes.
