I spent a good deal of time 3D printing but was clueless about how milling works. Milling machine simulator taught me all the basics and got me hooked. Be careful with this software though, it might turn into an expensive hobby :P It inspired me to purchase a real CNC mill and I felt right at home in manual control mode, thanks to this simulator. It is a great tool to learn and practise, and I can imagine it's very good for giving projects a try before messing up real workpieces. Looking forward to the CNC DLC.
