I know I'm biased (since I made the soundtrack), but I do think this is a nice game. It has a balanced learning curve and, once you learn the enemies' patterns, it's easy to reach and beat the final boss. If you want a challenge, the hidden achievement does require a deeper understanding of the game and good reflexes; there's enough content for every skill level. Also, Marimoth is a score based shoot 'em up, so you can always try for a better position on the leaderboards.
