TOP SPIN. A long awaited tennis game. Gameplay is awesome as always but... 1. Small number of players compared to Tiebreak. In career mode you get bored playing against the same players in all tournaments. 2. Small amount of Real sponsored clothes, racket begs and rackets. Even with the centre court pass there is not that much of anything. 3. Not listening what fans of the game wants. 4. No new updates and nothing on social media from them. I think that if they partner up with other studio for modeling, animations, rigging, textures, graphics, etc, it would be awesome.

2k server not working

Genuinely irritated after trying to fix everything, first the game gets a disconnection error, tried restarting my WiFi and reconnecting, same error again, tried unlinking on the portal from my steam account, got an "authorize failed" when i tried to go to the website, cant even play a career without having to be online for some reason so its just a game with one menu available.

This game just isn't fun. It's a realistic enough, but it's a slog. It's the video game experience of watching a sports dad scream in a child's face. If you want to experience achievement empty of joy, this game is for you.

Overall, I like this game—especially as someone who played Top Spin 2, 3, and 4. The fact that it feels similar to Top Spin 4 is a big plus for me. Maybe nostalgia plays a role, but that game was truly ahead of its time. Unfortunately, some details have frustrated me for over 20 years now. For example, why is it still so difficult to add proper grunts for each player—especially when 2K already has the license to feature them? Another issue is the serving animations. Many players have incorrect serve motions, and while I understand you can’t motion-capture everyone, even smaller games manage to add realistic movements and serves through mods. On the positive side, as a Roger Federer fan, I’m glad this game finally includes his correct serve motion. However, the absence of Nadal and Djokovic makes the roster feel incomplete and the game a bit empty.

Literally perfect game aside from the random crashing in online matches. PLEASE fix this shit. I'd be undefeated right now if my game suddenly stopped freezing in between sets and forcing me to restart the game, leading to me having a loss because I "disconnected mid match" even though I can't play the fucking game. This has been consistent for like a year guys, cmon.

Very good, gameplay is great, it's tough, there's a high cap to master it for sure.

when the game is good, its great. when the game is bad, its is horrrrribleeeee. online is full of exploiters who will max out stats that u cant really beat. the story mode is actually quite enjoyable (even tho its verrry repetitive), but i still dont reccomend playing it due to the fact that its eaither way to easy or way to hard. they have settings to change the difficulty of the ai you play against but the option have huge gaps. when playing on hard i dominate 3-0 3-0, so i decide to go up to very hard where i will lose to the exact same ai 0-3 0-3. no good middle ground. just not worth the buy at this point even tho i have had fun playing it,.

Was hesitant to try this one given all of the mixed reviews. As someone who has played tennis games since Virtua Tennis on DC, I was hoping this one would live up to the series highs of Top Spin 3 and 4. After playing for several hours, happy to report this is a fantastic sim of the sport while retaining the simple arcade feel of the best tennis games. Graphics overall are excellent, especially the ultra-wide support and authentic stadiums. Little touches like the crowd being hushed by the umpire and fans looking at their phones bring cool touches...missing Djokovic and a few others but overall buy this game with confidence especially at the $20 price point.
