THIS GAME IS SO FUCKING SHIT WITH THIS GAY ASS BRYAN CHARACTER ALWAYS 100 100 100 100 100 100 DAMAGE AND BULLSHIT FUCKING COMBOS THAT HE PULLS OUT OF HIS ASS, NOT ONLY THAT BUT HE HAS A PUNISHABLE LIFTER I DONT RECOMMEND IF UR A STRAIGHT PERSON THIS GAME IS FOR FUCKING FAGGOT PEOPLE WITH NO FRIENDS OR FAMILY OR LIFE OR A FUCKING JOB
What happened to TEKKEN? The game feels poorly balanced. Some characters have weak movesets, while others get overpowered special abilities like guns, lasers, or even health recovery. Some characters can do over 50 damage in just 2 hits, while others need to do 7-8 hits to do the same amount. If you enjoy this game, maybe you're a main of Kazuya, Jin, or someone with "badass" moves. Thats make the others characters feel slow, easy to counter. What is going on? I honestly regret buying this.
Tekken 8 continues its trend as a highly controversial game surrounded by a highly toxic community. It’s great as a solo game, and retains its classic satisfying fighting system with new and returning characters. Its graphics and gameplay are a clear improvement over Tekken 7. However, its DLC is quite often overpriced. I’d only recommend this game on a discount as the devs aim to bleed you dry of cash. Be warned.
The game is in freakin' shambles.
50/50 stance mixups and 20 second long combos without any combo breakers are the name of the game. Even Heihachi and upcoming Armor King are stance characters now.
At least remove the Heat Burst combo bounds. NOW.
This game desperately needs giant overhauls to its mechanics, but mostly to full cutscene-long combos. You get launched and you can go take a smoke and make a coffee, and when you're back, they're still not done. And after a combo you get a 50/50 stance mixup. Again. What a joke. Devs are being overly cautious about changing things because of the Worlds tournament, when they actually should be hotfixing the sh*t out of their game if they don't want half of the remaining playerbase to quit. I know I did, I barely play anymore, and when I do, it's mostly in private lobbies with friends, I barely touch the ranked mode anymore, the game is fundamentally not fun and often just broken, as in not working as intended. Jack hurtboxes...
season 2 ruined this game. brainless mashing is rewarded and trying to play tekken is punished. Maybe by tekken 9 they will remember how to make a tekken game. until then dont buy this trash
Horrible game, no competitive integrity, not worth learning since 99% of characters are OP and a newcomer can beat a veteran player (first ever Tekken game that allows this). Also, no player expression because mash and forced 50/50s will always be a better plan than defense; you get penalized for blocking, either through frames or grey health. Cheaters are also rampant. I can only see this being a good game if you play one of the few honest-ish characters with friends in a lobby or offline. Otherwise, don't bother and play one of the older Tekken titles.
please i beg of you stay away from this game they make the power creep 10x worse every update and ransom old characters from other games back to you for 8 dollars
terrible game. Every update ruins online. maybe stop ruining the game for weeks at a time
Somehow a massive stepdown from 7. Game looks like shit, and plays even worse. Remove heat mechanics and rage art, and go back to a slower gameplay is the move IMO
