I will not recommend any "auto save" game in which auto saves are placed in a manner that you can lose half an hour of progress if you didn't save manually. This one is no exception.

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, and it is the very simple reason I don't. However, I found Soul Hackers 2 to be just *that bad* it managed to actually make me write one down. From level design to combat and dungeon crawling. They are delivered so poorly I couldn't muster the will to continue playing. Not even for the story, whose narrative is deeply dragged down by its gameplay and dungeon-crawling elements. The only thought of continuing this game felt like an insufferable chore, which is sad because I really tried liking this game and found both the art style and character design to be good. I feel this could've been a visual novel instead, and it would've been a way nicer experience.

It's a nice little game to play on the side. I wish it did have more budget allocated to it though. The dungeons can feel really repetitive. Ringo is an amazing protagonist. Definitely get it on sale.

I've gone on and off this game because I reached so far into it. But I'm near the end, and it just became a chore to grind levels to beat the bosses. I really don't like the fact that if you already figured a demon's weakness and it appears in slightly harder form, it is treated as if its a separate monster and you have to figure out the weaknesses again. I just started resorting to just searching up online what the weakness of the demons, because I can't be bother to remember every weakness of every demon I already met once, especially when they already have a feature that they don't use.

Under rated gem, some of the coolest synth music very rem. of smt4. Combat was always fun, story is bit lack luster but I love the characters enough to keep enjoying it. Visuals on 2k and 4k look beyond astounding with the cell shading esp at 120 plus hz. Really love Ringo and the team, wish it got a little more praise but it's alright the game has always had a unique shine to it. Much love and respect to the devs and community.

I had a ton of fun with the Soul Hackers 2, despite this, I have mixed feelings about it. Maybe it's this mix of modern, streamlined and old school design. Battles are fun, especially the special ones in soul matrix, tons of customization, and Sabbath system is no press turn system, but's OK.
