100% worth the price. You can tell that this was a labor of love. They let you play the way you want. I've yet to have two runs that felt similar. There does not seem to be any dominant strategy, you have to eke out little edges here and there to survive. Every fight seems like its going to be a wipe, but with some clever play, you survive and move on. I like that once the rolling is done, there is no RNG and they let you undo moves, so it's like solving a puzzle.

User Reviews
This game is fantastic. It's a dungeon crawler where your skills are dice. The core game loop is playing through a sequence of battles that get increasingly harder. Won battles reward you with level-ups or items. There is a huge variety of classes, items, enemies, and game modes. I have played a lot and I still discover new things and especially new synergies. Or new ways to fail. Steam will say that I have played this game for only six hours when writing this review, which is true for Steam. But after playing for these six hours, I decided that this game is just so well-suited to be played on a tablet or a mobile phone that I bought the game a second time and I'm now playing almost exclusively on my Android tablet. While there is no automatic synchronisation between devices/platforms, you can manually export and import unlocked in-game achievements (and secrets) and the unlocks tied to those achievements.
One of the best games of its genre. Fully worth its price and please support this great developer.
Every time I come back to this game it sucks me in like some kind of addiction, it's great. There's real strategy here and very often you find yourself narrowly getting out of desperate situations. There's a great wealth of gamemodes and even custom ones, that really keep things fresh. Hard recommend, especially for that price
gotta roll them dice
This game surprised me in a big way! You're able to customize the experience to your tastes and it's extremely addicting. Even better when you start unlocking items and heroes. My favorite feature is the "undo/Re-roll" mechanic that turns this into a risk reward experience that has me hooked. Strong recommend if you like a little RNG with some control and other roguelike games.
amazing depth and replay-ability
The quintessential dice game
Slice & Dice is a clever and remarkably addictive roguelike that distills party-based RPG combat into a minimalist, dice-driven format without sacrificing depth or strategic nuance. At first glance, it appears deceptively simple: you control a five-hero party, each represented by a six-sided die, and you face off against waves of enemies in turn-based battles. But beneath this surface lies an intricate system of probability, optimization, and tactical foresight that makes every run a fresh and engaging challenge. Whether you're dealing damage, blocking hits, healing allies, or manipulating mana, each face of every die matters, and the decisions you make with them carry real weight. The core mechanic of rolling dice each turn—then choosing whether to lock in results or reroll—creates a tense push-and-pull between risk and reward. Enemies telegraph their moves in advance, so each turn becomes a puzzle: how do you best use your available rolls to survive the incoming onslaught and co...
Amazing game. Replayability factor is fantastic. Do you like easy games? This can be that. Do you like difficult games? This can be damn near impossible. I have 119 hours in this game so far, on PC. On mobile even more. Whenever I get tired of any other game, this is where I end up.
