About the Game

The story of Cal Kestis continues in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor™, a third-person, galaxy-spanning, action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. This narratively driven, single-player title picks up 5 years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order™ and follows Cal’s increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness. Pushed to the edges of the galaxy by the Empire, Cal will find himself surrounded by threats new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal is driven to make a stand during the galaxy’s darkest times — but how far is he willing to go to protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order?

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an incredible experience. The story is engaging, lightsaber combat feels powerful, and the Force abilities are satisfying to master. The world is beautifully crafted, full of detail and atmosphere. On the technical side, it runs smoothly most of the time, though occasional stutters remind you it’s a demanding game. A must-play for any Star Wars fan! 🪐💥

The lightsaber combat in Jedi: Survivor is slick and satisfying. The fluidity and depth feel like a serious upgrade from Fallen Order, with layers of customization and stances that create a genuinely enjoyable experience.Unfortunately, that's where the praise ends for me. The story didn’t resonate—I found it underwhelming and lacking emotional impact. Some villains felt underdeveloped, and large chunks of the planet exploration lacked meaningful engagement.Despite this, the game remains a solid action-adventure in the Star Wars universe.

Another Star Wars masterpiece with a great story, fun exploration and gameplay with different and unique play-styles, it took me around 80hrs to 100% the game with all the achievements, worth every penny.. the only problem for me was the optimisations.. crashes, texture popping, random stuttering and it took some google searches to fix those issues.. overall I'd say: 1/10 EA launcher 5/10 Optimisation 10/10 everything else

I have mixed feelings about this. First of all, the optimization is pretty bad in some areas, and this still hasn’t been fixed. Second, the gameplay in the first 5–6 hours is focused too much on parkour and too little on combat and other elements. However, the last 3 hours of the game make up for that. I can say that I disliked the first 7 hours and only started to enjoy it in the last 3. So, I would recommend it only for the final 3 hours of the game, in the rest it was pretty bad, boring, repetitive and inferior to the first game in any aspect. I would only give this game a 6 or 7 out of 10. Nowhere near as good as what it should be, but nonetheless a fun Star Wars game where you are a Jedi with abilities. Definitely only buy it on sale - it is way overpriced for what they delivered.

This game is amazing, but the optimization is bad. The world design is beautiful. The exploration is fun. The maps are quite large. The puzzles are quite good. The graphics are good. The combat sometimes feels clunky and boring. It lacks enemy variety. And most of the rewards are just cosmetics like costumes, haircuts, and beards. The optimization is bad. It kept crashing and freezing. I had to disable DLSS to play it without crash and freeze. But because I played without DLSS, I experienced stuttering problem and FPS drop. SCORE: Gameplay: 8/10 World design: 9/10 Graphics: 8/10 Optimization: 5/10

The EA app and its inability to launch, and from there inability to play this game makes the game unplayable. I would like to play the game, I enjoyed the time I had on it, but this problem follows that if I forget that I need to launch the ea app first, then try to launch the game through steam, I will not be able to play the game for the rest of the day.

Even having enjoyed the first title, this one just feels... boring. In my opinion, the focus on traversal is way too high. Climbing ledges, running on walls, etc, just to make like 40ft of actual progress and open a "shortcut" - there's way too much of that. Combat is also kind of strange, sitting in the middle between "souls-like" and "hack and slash" type fighting which somehow manages to feel both too fast and too slow at the same time. After taking a small break from playing this, I did not feel a strong urge to return to it.

Honestly, all the talk on performance issues just disappears once i removed ray tracing. Game ran like a charm and the story is fantastic.
