Feels like playing gameboy games in the backseat while my parents drive to who cares where. This is a love letter to traditional 2D Zelda games. Not especially difficult but satisfying to play. Fun to explore, lots of secrets to find. Play this!

Fun & Cute Zelda-inspired game :3 Being able to choose the color palette was a fantastic choice - I loved to use the warmer colors as it was easier to look at for longer periods of time~ The Nonograms (Picross Puzzles) was a fun surprise! ^^

Another great fox Zelda. Positives: - Combining health and money pickups is one of the best things that has ever happened to this genre. - It's pretty obvious what's going to happen (e.g. yeah that's a hookshot spot but I don't have that item yet) but that doesn't mean the progression is less fun. In fact, the limited variety in enemies, items and locations makes the whole game manageable and keeps the excitement high. - Dungeons are well designed, especially the last one. - The music is really enjoyable. Neutral: - Fox = cute = good, but also not particularly creative. - Comes with lots of picross puzzles as bonus content. Negatives: - The endgame has some additional collectibles and secrets, but it feels like "ok, I guess we're done here" and you just stop playing. The later puzzles were also a miss.

As a sucker for Tunic, this game gave me a lot of similar great feelings. Big, connected world, local puzzles mixed with global secrets, abilities & upgrades, and the music - don't even get me started. What might start as your generic adventurous soundtrack overtime became my musical obsession for the week! Now, it REALLY leaves you alone in the world, to the point of frustration in the beginning, but if you understand what you're playing and decide to embrace it, it will take you on a long and exciting ride. Also, check in with yourself while you're playing. If you're scouring the map in frustration and are out of ideas, don't let it make you drop the game - looking stuff up on the internet isn't invalidating. I had to look up some pointers to a couple of late-game items, and I'm glad I did, it helped. Don't let your desire to 'remain pure' stay in the way of full experience. That's all, go play, shoo.

Adorable, kicking chip tunes and a classic game feel where you explore a world with vibrant (though black and white) enemies/ silly NPC's? Sign me up. Also could be considered demake of Tunic (also a fantastic game). If you like any of the Legend of Zelda 2D games or as I said Tunic you will like this snack sized adventure game!

A love letter to our adventure top down link's awakening, oracles of season or ages. The sword can be a little tricky for distance hit box (upgrade that first). If you don't know what to do at the beginning get your first 50 coins to buy the upgrade in the treadmill shop. There's no holding your hand good luck exploring some secrets are so well hidden I couldn't find them with the item that reveals them lol. For the Nonogram (150 total) + 1 each 5 you do. Don't forget to count where stuff can't go or if from the edge it can only go a certain place can unlock the trickier ones. If stuck you can also add a random one and try it and see if no contradiction happens good luck.
