Jeebo & Jerbo vs. Life Chapter 1: Jeebo & Jerbo vs. The Dream
Jeebo & Jerbo vs. Life is a story focused Metroidvania/Party Based JRPG told in chapters! The overworld plays like a standard 2D Metroidvania where unlocking new party members allows you to access previously inaccessible locations due to their unique movement abilities! For example, Jeebo can wall jump, and Jerbo can pogo jump off of normally dangerous obstacles.
It differs from standard Metroidvanias in that when you encounter an enemy the game switches into a Party Based JRPG where you must strategize your actions in order to succeed!
Chapter 1 contains three playable characters, each with their own unique movement abilities to help aid in exploration and each with their own move set for use in battles!

This game was made by a very dear friend of mine. I see all the hard work he has put into it, and for those of you who like RPGs you will love the game. It's a game with good music, funny dialogue and a unique story as well. There is much to be discovered in the world of Jeebo and Jerbo. I believe chapter 2 is on its way out very soon. Give this game a try!

Fantastic game with an amazing world. The lore and story are phenomenal and the gameplay is very fun too. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys funny and interesting worlds akin to that of Undertale/Deltarune (You can definitely see a lot of Toby Fox influence in the game lol)

Definitely cathartic for those who have worked in a corporate office environment! I loved the background phone calls mimicking the kind of inane requests you might receive..."we don't want your ointment here, sir." All of the dialogue with the boss is funny in the so-true kind of way.
The platforming is fun, with spring and wall jumps introduced fairly quickly. The slowly approaching death-boss is a classic also. I liked that gaining experience made a big difference each time as well, helping you escape the battles more quickly.
The title music rocks! And the rest of the tracks are nice too. The visuals are a bit sporadic, but the battle/field animations are pretty good! I always love being a pile of goo.

This game is aptly named. Life--all the absurdity, senselessness, and violence of it--is thoroughly roasted. The writing is witty, the parody is deep, and the charm of the whole package is undeniable.

This is pretty fun! The music is cool and the comedy is great. The combination of platforming and pokemon-style battles is pretty clever. I found some of the platforming a little difficult. Overall great game, I'm gonna keep playing!
