This is one of the most beautiful, and detailed games I have ever played. There are a few bugs that I think devs are still working on, but overall gameplay is fun, engaging, and intentional. The art is gorgeous, the story is intriguing, and I hope that the devs get to finish this game the way they wanted to, because you can tell that they developed it with love. I even think it is worth the price tag. TBH, except for the sleazy, scumbag publishing company that forced a full release before it was ready, there is nothing wrong with this game (again, except for some bugs). Pros: Lots to do and explore A variety of activity and minigames, in addition to the farming and life sim stuff Such detail in the art. Interesting characters Engaging and intersting even after 40+ hours A decent sized map The cons: somewhat buggy. It is mostly playable, there are a couple of annoying bugs that I have run across that I have been able to get around with the "go back to last sleeping ...

User Reviews
The game is something I'd describe as "having potential". It's got some good things going for it. I've had no problem running it personally but seems to be a game that requires a strong rig (mine is about 2 months old and a gaming desktop). Unfortunately I hear it's supposed to be a finished game, it doesn't feel like one though, it feels like a early access game. There are a number of more or less annoying/gamebreaking bugs that by right shouldn't be allowed in a finished product. Worst case, "pause button + "return to last sleeping place" has been my go to needed solution, have been forced to use it 2 times during my almost 20h playtime. As the game is right now, with a strong rig, and game on sale, I'd say the game is worth a try (do try the demo first to make sure it works for you), I'd not wanna pay full price for this.
I refunded this game because I found the controls extremely janky, and the artwork was an off-putting mix of real photographs with video-game characters overlaid. It reminds me of those low-budget hyper-realistic photograph "life sim" games with very little actual substance. Originally I got this game because every review at the time I bought it was positive and it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, which leads me to wonder if they are being compensated somehow for these reviews. We clearly did not play the same game. The UI is full of bugs, the movement is incredibly laggy, something as simple cutting down a tree takes ages of slow, stuttering animations - and often when you aim at something it doesn't hit it, so you have to do it all over again. On top of that there are multiple game-breaking bugs that the developer has stated they will not fix. This is not a 1.0 release, it is obviously an Early Access game that is essentially lying to customers to get $$$.
RUN! This game is very buggy! Some places drop to 1 FPS. Seems like devs also abandoned this game. It crashes and I refuse to continue playing this game.
