Substance 3D Modeler 2025 gets a lot right but also gets important basic things wrong. its 2025 and tablet and pen support is bad. Im using a Huion tablet and the only software it doesnt work well with is this. Shortcut keys assigned on the tablet sometimes work but randomly get ignored. Substance menu has an option to flip the menu to the other side of the screen for left handers but only in VR mode. I dont use the VR mode, i use a tablet but, and im left handed. so why not add the option to do the same when using a tablet? Full screen mode doesnt work well with tablets too. theres an offset added to the pens touch point. again this doesnt happen in many of the other software i use. only Substance Modeler. The Issues i talk about are quality of life features that can be sorted out relatively quickly. I hope they do.

Outputs from Modeler can be sent straight to Substance 3D painter for texturing, directly to an engine or renderer, or even brought into other modelling apps for additional work.
