Not bad, but lacks a real sense of progression that makes me want to keep playing for hours and hours. The dialogue I personally really disliked, and found every area the same visually with only a minor colour variation. The common enemies are pretty easy to deal with, but the bosses I think are overtuned slightly damage wise. I think on a deep discount this could provide some fun, but overall it's very "meh" to me.

Discover and explore the darkly-charming, procedurally-generated departments of Death Inc., where you’ll meet a diverse cast of memorable characters—like your affable pumpkin-headed assistant, Pump Quinn—who are always willing to share the latest office gossip

Sharpen your skills (and scythe) through fast-paced hack n’ slash combat, utilizing over 70 unique weapons and spells you can find and upgrade to create devastating combinations

Since Death can’t die, use what you’ve learned and earned to overcome the numerous minions and bosses in each department of Death Incorporated... over and over. A performance review after every run guarantees that you’ll unlock interesting items and upgrades that will help you progress on your journey

Taking more power for yourself is a controversial move in Death Incorporated’s company culture. For instance, adopting a Curse upgrade for yourself might result in the Labor Inspector granting your subordinates enhanced powers, or worse, raising the cost of koffee and other items that are vital to your work output

Have a Nice Death is a fast-paced, hand-drawn action roguelike that blends sharp satire with fluid combat, offering a beautifully macabre vision of the afterlife that’s equal parts whimsical and punishing. Developed by Magic Design Studios, the game places players in the role of Death himself—burnt out, bureaucratically overworked, and disrespected by his unruly underlings. The narrative premise is as humorous as it is dark: in an effort to automate the soul-harvesting process, Death’s employees (the Sorrows) have run amok, tipping the balance of the afterlife and forcing their reluctant CEO to take up the scythe once more. At the heart of Have a Nice Death is its combat, which is fast, flashy, and built on precise movement. The game is structured like a traditional roguelike, with procedurally generated runs, randomized power-ups, and increasingly difficult enemies as you climb the corporate tower of Death Inc. The combat is surprisingly deep and satisfying, feeling more akin t...
The game looks like a lot of fun, but sadly -after playing for hours, I got nowhere and I've lost interest. Living and learning.
I don't understand why this game isn't more popular. It's like Hades meets Hollow Knight. Entertaining, dark humor, satisfying gameplay. The attacks feel smooth, fast and responsive, the whole experience is pleasing to my brain. I can play this for hours, have already recommended it to all my friends. 10/10.
this one slaps =)

I'm a bit hesitant here, but overall, I quite enjoyed this game. I didn't quite beat it (only getting the first ending) but I feel that I have played enough to have an adequate understanding of the game. My only real issue was that it feels like some floors are just better than others in all possible scenarios, but there's rarely anything bad, and the few guaranteed floors help alleviate the issue.
I loved the art direction and gameplay! It's challenging, but not so much that it becomes frustrating. Finding the right build with synergies is extremely satisfying. Similar to other roguelikes, after a failed run, you'll find yourself wanting to try again, just one more time, to beat the game before going to sleep.
very fun, cheap, and can play multiple times and it doesn't get old.
