Marlon’s Mystery: The darkside of crime

Marlon's Mystery is a true gem in the world of video games. From the moment I started playing, I was captivated by its story, its art. The attention to detail in every part of the game is truly impressive. The characters are well developed and engaging, adding depth to the overall experience. The combination of mystery, suspense and board game mechanics keep me totally hooked. I can't wait to finish it to find out the end of the story.

I try to cut indie developers some slack when it comes to imperfections, so when I realized within the first five seconds that the English translation was going to be.... Rough... I didn't much mind as long as I could understand what the sentence was supposed to have been (and I could). What I was less forgiving of was running into a game-breaking bug that locks you out of progressing in the first fifteen minutes, then going to the steam forums and seeing that the most recent thread on the forums is from December 2023 and involves the poster and several other people encountering the exact same bug. In short, the game is currently in a broken, unplayable state past a certain point and given that it was last updated almost a year ago, that doesn't seem likely to change. And so I can't recommend it.

It's not a bad game, but there are bugs. The 'send to the board' doesn't quite work often like the scissor part. I think the achievements are not working. It is also not a long game.

This game wouldn't be too bad if ya'll would please fix minor bugs. I tried to put an item onto the board and it won't show. Which means I can't progress with deductions. Please fix this! When it says move to board it makes the sound only.

This game have some kind of bug, that it seems you can encounter at any time in the game. And there is no way to contact the developers to get help. So just dont waste your money and time on this game...

The game provides an intriguing storyline, satisfying gameplay, and enjoyable visuals. If you're a fan of the genre, it's definitely worth checking out.

lovely point & click detective game (party hidden object too, since you can't see the hotspots even when hovering over them, you have to click on stuff). i'm sure everyone has covered every angle of it already, so i'll cut it short. there is no single negative review and that alone tells volumes. just buy it, play it.

I totally recommend this game, I'm not into videogames and in fact it's the first game I've bought on Steam. The only thing this game needs is a sequel. The character design would make Agatha Christie envious, and while I'd love to see more interaction between any of them, I personally wouldn't change a thing. <possibly someone might consider this a spoiler, nice thing from steam let me put the next text in black> [spoiler] The plot is beautifully constructed and I really wasn't expecting the final plot twist.
