The longer I play this game, the less I like it. It's obtuse for no good reason. There's just a ton of little things that are extremely annoying and make for a bad game play experience. There is no universal inventory inside your home, this should be fixed. The "platforming" is so bad, her jump is weak, vaguely floaty and there is no way to indicate where you'll land. The building mechanics are the least intuitive I've ever seen and a complete pain to deal with. Nothing has a label when you mouse over it, no I don't know what your artistic interpretation of wolfsbane looks like without a f**king label. I wanted to love this game, the aesthetics are great. But even the clothing you collect are really boring. Do you love black shirt tan pants? How about tan shirt black pants? Cause this game has that in spades.

Alright.... I really love the idea of this game. It looks great....also witches. So uhm...it's so buggy and idk if they're ever going to get it past the early access imo. They never really update much. Sad because this could be such a cute game.
The concept and overall idea is definitely there, it drew me in and I had many high hopes! But unfortunately I find the execution to be lacking. I have faith this game will eventually live up to its potential, but that being said, it is currently very clunky-- more so than expected even from an early access release. I have found there to be many visual glitches, and even more quest-related issues (such as missing or inaccessible dialogue, people or animals not even appearing, floating items, etc) that make sections of the game impossible to complete. Similarly, while each map is arranged differently, what you can actually do in each map is typically very repetitive (aside from the main story quests, which also have their issues). Many interactive features around the map don't have any explanation as to what they are for (while that could be fun for people who enjoy a bit of a guessing game and trying different features, I found myself needing to google a LOT) It eventually devolves s...
literally unplayable. i thought i try un installing, reinstalling, starting new game, still the pickup item glitches at grain and i cant progress. how the F did this game get Awards when it doesnt even work properly?. game breaking bugs very often, plus the save game checkpoints make it worse. first i couldnt collect mushrooms n berries, so i re-opened game and that worked, the the candles wouldnt light the pine, re-opened game, and the save checkpoint sent me back to when i collected pine, but at least the candles worked this time, then i couldnt collect the grain, so i re-opened game again, checkpoint back at the collected pine part, ugh fine, got to needing grain again, and again i couldnt collect grain. the game its nice and seems fun, but severely broken. plus, the keyboard controls are kinda janky, thank goodness you can remap the buttons.
Really like the idea of this game but at its current state it is more of a demo. There is very little game here maybe a couple of hours, they have given us a demo that goes into a building sandbox that i have really no desire to play, that is not the game I purchased. I understand that this is early access but $20 is way overpriced for what we are getting. The bugs I understand but a quick look at the history of the bug patches says they have fixed the same bugs multiple times yet there is a bunch of floating stuff EVERYWHERE. I personally do not like the art style but it is a choice and i understand alot of people like it I just found it gloomy for no reason..
The concept and setting is great... but there is not a lot of "witching" in this game about being a... witch. After about year after release, playing on a gamepad is still clunky and not really possible, because it's bugged and not intuitive. Overall the game still looks like a someone's first game project, looks unpolished and feels not good at all. Graphics don't kinda look on like on screens all the time, it feel inconsistent. I feel that game only focuses on the chicken house, because there are a lot of decorations that can be found everywhere, but nothing else.
A very rare and pleasent surprise to find a Russian folklore, fairytale with some mythological creatures in a game like that. Love the mystic and building your base that can walk is amazing.
Really unfun and boring, didn't achive what it promised either
There are no enemies to attack you. There are no dangerous areas that you need to gear up for. There is, however, a very chill game that you can take at your own pace. uncover interesting and unique quests and and characters, and just have a blast at being a young witch under the vague supervision of Baba Yaga. There's not much else to say, really. It's like a survival-craft game with all the pressure removed and a gentle art style. Honestly I really like it when I just want to kick back with no alien-beasties trying to chew off my face and just relax. If you've had a shitty day at work, I'd really recommend this to just let yourself unwind. Most chill.
If you like a dark, folklore-ish aesthetic involving witches and earth magics, and you don't mind a bit of jank, this game offers a nice, cozy sort of gameplay you might want to try. I've gone past the second chapter, effectively completing what amounts to a sort of tutorial, without experiencing combat. I suppose one could say this game feels much like an educational dive into ethnic folklore, spoken as if the the tales are as real and literal as daily life.
