About This Game

Suburban rivalries erupt into full scale mayhem in a 4v4 battle of home improvement against home destruction. Assemble a team from a cast of unique iconic residents, set up defenses to protect your home and use every imaginable tool to knock out your neighbors and wreck their home before they do the same to you.

Meet the Neighbors

Imagine your ordinary collection of locals, crafty homemakers, bratty kids, grumpy retirees, taking on the combat classes that suit them best. Like Doreen, the kindly granny in her housecoat - and boxing gloves. A retired boxer, she packs a wicked uppercut. Or Kevin, the menace, with his slingshot. Each character brings their unique strengths, and signature super, to help your team win.

Attack Your Neighbor

“The best defense is a good offense" holds true in Neighbors. Mostly harmless household items become useful weapons in the fight. Grab a frying pan or golf club and get into the fight. Upgrade to access more creative gadgets, like the Seagull-130 control unit to rain eggs and bird poop down on your enemy from above.

Defend Your House

Your fence will only keep the attackers out for a little while. Lay traps, reinforce windows, and deploy ingenious devices to hold off your rival neighbors from wrecking your house. Keep your house essentials safe from the raiding neighbors.

Unlock customizations

Show up to the neighborhood in style by choosing different outfits, appearances for your weapon of choice, and of course, your very own homestead. Will you opt for the rustic log cabin, the mid-century modern abode, or the pompous mansion? The different layouts of each house will change the flow of the game.

Game is completely dead. Average player count is like literally 20. Free to play is this games only hope. Do not buy unless you like 10 dollar glorified background screen savers.

This game had a dream start - unique idea / genre, got played on stream by xQc (how I discovered this game), extremely fun with the trolling, strategy, and competitiveness. And then what? The devs completely wasted this dream start. The rushed launch from playtest phase to beta was problematic. Key technical issues like collision problems and matchmaking were not solved. Quality of life features like a proper inventory, tutorials for beginners, etc were not implemented. And also, this game had in-game purchases AND was NOT free to play. This is against the standard practice of PvP games. For PvP games, you either have in game purchases OR you make it pay to play, not both. Regardless, I think the most frustrating problem was with the direction and vision the devs had in mind for this game. This game is a Player vs Player game. Competitiveness and strategy is the utmost core of any PvP game. However, the devs really forced this game to be casual, so much so that any features/i...

It's a decent game with a good idea and graphics. The problem is the lack of players and weapons which can quickly unbalance the game in favor of one team.

Solo Q review: You get 2-3 good days with these kinds of games these days before you get nothing but lobbies full of twitch streamers full partied up running every kind of strat they could find online to farm clips on casual players. This game would have had a chance as a more casual paced R6 Siege, but instead quickly matched its competitive pacing. You can't organically learn these kinds of games these days as people are quick to find whatever exploits can give them a competitive edge and unless you're in the know you're at a constant disadvantage. Even when you learn to hold your own, if you're in solo q the chances of you getting paired against a partied team and getting grouped with randoms trying to learn the game themselves is higher than getting into a fairly matched team. This game had so much potential but I can see why it didn't get a fair shot and it's not entirely on the devs.

The developers have shown a clear lack of direction, something made even more obvious in their dev update videos. They catered to every discord balancing suggestion while still branding the game as 'casual,' which only created an unsatisfying experience and segregated their audience into multiple game modes. Early testing drew in huge numbers, yet the official launch felt rushed and mishandled. Instead of adopting a sustainable ftp model like a battle pass with cosmetics, they locked the game behind a 10€ paywall (probably forced by their investors). By the time unique micro-transaction skins appeared, the playerbase had already crashed from over 100k during free early access to barely 3k at release. What could have been a success was wasted by misguided business leadership and self-indulgent developers
