Cloud Escape

Cloud Escape is fantastic! It keeps making you want to play more! It has some really nice physics and the visuals are set in a nice style. It seems very balanced in terms of challenge. As an example, you can doublejump in the game - and you can "hold" the second jump for a good amount of time, making you able to jump longer than just quickly doublejumping, so this is a mechanic that is great to learn. Easy to get in to, hard to master! I tried out Cloud Escape first time just now, and I definitely enjoyed my time in it! The world looks great and the controls are tight. I am giving this a thumbs up with a HUGE caveat. Only buy this if you are SUPER into VERY high difficulty 3d platformers and/or speedrunning. Let me explain. The game is VERY hard (as described). The checkpoints only work for two deaths, after that, you get kicked back to the very beginning. Cloud Escape is an excellent designed jump and run game that provided me with a lot of fun during the first hours of playing. The various modes ensure that the game remains captivating for a long time by offering alternative difficulties and challenges. Also worth mentioning is that the developer implemented various little tricks and opportunities to improve the own pace, giving the game the potential to become a real treasure for speed run junkies. I asses the price of the game as absolute fair and can highly recommend every jump and run fan to give it a try. You will definitely enjoy it!

What a nice little Game! It reminds me on the good old PS1 era. If you like challenging Platforming Games, you should give it a shot now!

You think you can handle your aggression? This game will teach you better. Even on normal mode it is challenging and will lead to many deaths and attempts :-)

Cool game! If you like jump and run games and mario is too easy for you, give this game a shot. It's very difficult, creative, and fun. I can recommend.

I've got to be honest I really wanted to like this, but with the floaty jumping and RNG cannon mechanic it's frustrating without the skill element of frustration? Just random things that can force you to die. I like the idea but not for me.

I first encounter Cloud Escpae on YouTube and watch it progress from beginning to release. The developer created an, in my opinon, fun and entertaining Devlog that even I someone not related to game development could follow. After completing the "Normal Mode" of the game and giving the "Hard Mode" a good amount of tries I can post my review. Cloud Escape is a fun and challenging Plattformer. The gameplay feels sharp and clicky. Discovering secrets and exploring the map makes the game even more interesting. The artstyle is very pretty and is kept throughout the whole game. The difficulty is perfect. "Normal Mode" provides a challenge and gives you the opportunity to learn the movement and map so you can prove/challenge yourself in "Hard Mode". I am glad I gave this Indie project a go and tried it. It's a fun game to just pick up and play. Can only reccomend the title and can't wait for future updates or projects by this developer.

This is a fun game. Also this is my first time playing this genre. Really am enjoying it. Keep it up! :)
