About This Game

It's senior year at Hallowearth University!

Play as a young monster who has only ever known life under human rule. Between finals for University and figuring out who to take to the winter prom, not to mention memorizing your lines for the big school play, you already have a lot of pressure to deal with. You've always heard legends of a grand apocalypse where the monsters of the world rose up to rule.....

Like, that was it, though. They got their butts kicked. Humanity won. Somehow. It was really, really embarrassing.

Now there are a bunch of humans invading your school. Okay, nothing so dramatic: they are transfer students from some Shakespeare Liberal Arts college. He was a famous human writer or something. It doesn't matter. The point is that you and your band of friends must quest to find harmony between your two worlds (and there are a *buttload* of different monster species vs. one human species), and maybe even figure out the mystery of how the current state of thing came to be.

Critter/Party Member Battle System!: 20+ monsters are yours to find and command, able to mix with up to 10 Party Members! Some Critter Beasts affect your stats, some affect battle! The possibilities are endless, or at least endless in the context of a finite mathematical number!

10 love interests!: You heard it here first!

Factions galore!: Will you align with the football team or the nerds of the computer lab?

An Army of Tentacles game!: Can be played as a stand-alone game or as a culmination of the past trilogy!

This review is actually a "I don't recommend". But because my reasoning is so niche, I'm putting yes just because I don't want to tank this game's algorithm as the only review. I'll change this over in a few weeks. Consider this a "maybe". I'm sure the series is great (there's multiple love interests with a stat based system and map, similar to "Long Live the Queen" and "Nicole"), but not for me. Full disclosure that I eventually bought this, after being on the fence about it anyway, because I wanted to write a guide for it, thinking some of the endings would be hilarious. Sadly refunded it after 5 minutes because there is a LOT of options and dialogue, and unfortunately NO skip button. On top of that, transitions and dialogue can't be clicked through very fast (like the animations are locked and have to play out). Anybody who's played otome games or dating sims knows the lack of skip button is frustrating at best, even in less complicated dating sims - but in a stat-based one (that...
