Pretty fun and compentent top-down shooter that infuses the "survivors" gameplay elements into a more traditional mission based top-down shooter. I also like that this game varies the gameplay by offering different weapons or objectives per level, and slowly introducing you to the abilities and upgrades. (There's also like boost pads or something that reminds me of the "slide" in the board game sorry!). Varied locations, too! - nice to see something unique each level instead of the same boring arena over and over again! The survivors like mechanics are just a series of straight forward stat upgrades that are reset on a per-level basis. And also manually activated abilities with cooldowns. There's a campaign and then also traditional survivors-like levels to play on. I was pleasantly surprised by how fun and engaging it was, how it gently introduced you to new mechanics, instead of just throwing you in the deep end with everything unlocked and "oh, here are ten pages of text to tell...
